Holiday rentals with a fire pit in White Carniola

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

It was an honour to stay at this beautiful cottage; the surroundings are nice, the neighbours were friendly; a very happy stay.

Our stay at "Peace of Mind - 2" was lovely. The location of the property is exceptional and offers not only a fantastic view of a wonderful landscape, but much more. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has all amenities. In addition, you can stay on the terrace by the pool and use the attached kitchen and lounge there. The pool itself offers the opportunity to swim athletically and the view of Kvarner Bay is unbeatable. Host Rajna is always helpful and gives great tips for exploring the area. An absolute feel-good place where you are very warmly welcomed and feel right at home! A. & T.

If you're looking for a place to take a break from your fast-paced life, you're here! Clean, tidy, with lots of natural amenities in the area. I recommend to everyone except those who have a problem that the stairs to the sleeping area are steep, and the ones that lead to the bathroom are narrow and spiral. We're happy, we'll be back on another occasion! :)

The warmest welcome from the host's family made the stay so special. The apartment is easy to find with good signage and instructions from the host. Check in was easy, and the apartment matches the photos. It's clean and spacious. The beds are quite comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering. Air conditioning works great, but the apartment was pretty comfortable with just running the fans. We had a wonderful meal at the nearby restaurant Ambar, and enjoyed poking around the scenic Rastoke village. It's a bit of a drive to Plitvice park, but not too bad. We got the 2 day ticket, which I recommend, to do lower lakes, then upper lakes with plenty of time to relax and enjoy. The host was very friendly and gave great recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the area.

The accommodation is very new, very clean and really luxuriously equipped. We were received in a very friendly manner. The parking space is good for two larger cars. We slept very well, the beds are very comfortable. In the kitchen we found everything we needed. We were particularly impressed by the filled refrigerator (beer, milk, water...) and the great fruit basket. Such a thing is rare! From there, you can comfortably walk to the waterfalls in 20 minutes. A small supermarket is also just around the corner. The house is not located on a busy street, so it is extremely quiet. In warm weather, it is very pleasant to sit on the terrace. It's warmer there than down by the water.

Great stay near Plitvice. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-situated for easy access to the park. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient, and the host was helpful in showing us how to use it. Highly recommend for a relaxing and practical stay.

Felt like at home. Mountain fabulous views. Walkable to the nearby mountains. The place is a bit difficult to find but the host gave us exact google map co-ordinates to navigate. Flexible checkin and friendly. Prepared dinner and breakfast for us as the nearby shop was already closed. One of those few hosts whom we long to see again.

Robert is a mega guy, the apartment is a dream and the location unique. More than recommended !!

We felt really comfortable

Beautifully furnished apartment, modern with everything you need even for a long vacation. Although I couldn't find the hairdryer. Coffee maker, sugar and juice! Everything I needed for one night. Too bad I didn't have more time!

We spent just over two weeks in this great place and felt at home from the first moment. The apartment is really well equipped and was ideal for us as a family. Isak and his in-laws were available and helpful at all times. We got great tips for things to do and had an all-round perfect vacation! Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Luka was a great host—he welcomed us warmly with a drink on arrival and was quick to help when we had a small issue with the sound system. We especially loved the grill house, where we ended up spending most of our time relaxing and enjoying meals. As a special touch, Luka even brought us some delicious homemade sausage, which was such a treat. Highly recommend staying here!

First things first, Eva is a wonderful, attentive, proactive and friendly host (she gave us one of the best lists of recommendations for walks, hikes, markets etc.). She answered every single one of our questions (and there were many) immediately and gave us the info we needed. For example, we wanted to make a barbecue and we needed a brush to clean the grill - and then Eva's dad ended up getting us a whole new grill so we didn't have to clean (kudos Eva's dad). The backyard is breathtaking, the views, the little nook in front of the jacuzzi for morning coffee and breakfast etc. Kitchen was fully equipped and had an impressive amount of spices and cookware. Everything was top notch clean, really everything. We really loved our stay, would recommend to all of our friends (or gatekeep so we can come back)! p.s. there's a small cute local dog named Luna, she will greet you at some point as well :)

I stayed for a couple of days and had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful surroundings, nature and walking around. Tomislav, the host, was really responsive and friendly. Recommended if you want some peace of mind!

The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The cottage is reached via a nice walkway from the steps. Although the luggage would sweat themselves with no problem, the hosts pulled it up to the cabin with a stroller. They are very flexible, nothing intrusive and very friendly! We felt at home and enjoyed the unspoiled nature.

We spend a wonderful night in the hutte. We recommend this peaceful place.

Very nice house, tidy and super nice surroundings. The location is quiet and just the right distance from the sights. The host was very responsive, understanding, flexible and friendly. We definitely come back again and recommend it on.

We enjoyed it with the children in nature and in the cottages that completely fit into it. Mr. Juraj ,Daniel and Alexandra we felt as accommodating as we were at home. Gulin and the surrounding area have something to offer both in the summer and in the winter. The Sabljaci , the museum and the house of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, the surrounding nature ,Rastoke....

We had a great stay at this small, idyllically located cottage! The place was beautiful, perfectly equipped and absolutely clean. You can really see the attention to detail here. There was nothing missing, and the quiet in the area was perfect for taking relaxing walks. We were particularly impressed that even extra bowls and treats were provided for my dog – we really enjoyed that! It was also wonderful to watch the bees from the beehives on the property. A real highlight that made the stay even more special. The hosts were extremely friendly and provided us with all the necessary information. In addition, we were even allowed to check in a little earlier, which we greatly appreciated. The self-check-in went very smoothly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. All in all it was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature – absolutely recommended!

Beautiful nice small cottage, perfect for a couple and a pet or two. The wood stove brought a very relaxing ambience and we completely recharged our batteries with the local scenery. Nice and isolated, near a lot of nature spots with waterfalls, creeks and lots of greenery, highly recommend!
