The Cottage at B and M Journey Farm

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A thoughtfully put together little cabin! Had all the basic kitchen supplies you would need, the bathroom was nice, the water got good and hot, the air conditioner worked well, etc. The host was responsive and helpful, the goats were very cute, and the place was very clean. I would note it was not bug proof--there were quite a few earwigs that made themselves at home as well. earwigs in the coffee! earwigs in the bed! and, hopefully, earwigs in your heart <3 They're a pretty mild and inoffensive bug, though. No issues with mosquitos, etc. Also plenty of attractions within a reasonable driving distance--we checked out some caverns, some hiking, and some nice local restaurants.

Secluded+Views+Hot Tub+Fire Pit+Dog Friendly

Absolutely loved our stay at the evergreen cabin. Felt right at home. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make & eat our meals at the cabin! Our kiddos loved their bedroom. The views are beautiful. 4x4 is handy for getting to the cabin especially in inclement weather.. including heavy rain. They provide a lot & it makes staying there super easy. Everything was really great & Evergreen is so far our favorite cabin we’ve rented to date.

My family had a wonderful time at Beth’s place this past weekend. It was extremely peaceful and very relaxing. The house was full of everything you could need and was spotless! The game room, fire pit and the hot tub were all added bonuses that kept everyone entertained. Great location for going to the Luray Caverns and taking a cruise on Skyline Drive. We would 100% stay here again.

Duck Inn B&B at Small Axe Farms - no cleaning fee

Kelly’s place was amazing. The property was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We loved hanging out with all the animals , especially the pigs. The whole family was so welcoming and we loved to hear about the farm from them. If you get a chance get a meal on the farm, cooking was great and the cake was to die for. The farm is super close to Shenandoah and a great home base to do some hiking or exploring.

Conductor’s Suite at The Depot

JessieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brad’s home was a welcoming space after our long roadtrip. It was very clean and included off-street parking. The living room was comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were spacious, and the kitchenette and dining rooms were just what we needed for our short stay. Natural light from windows only came in from the living room which was fine with us as we just needed a place to rest after a day of hiking. It was lovely to wake up to the freight trains (which you can’t hear from the dining or bedroom) and mountain backdrop of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. We could hear the guests in the unit above on our first night, but all was quiet by the time we slept and we did not wake up/ hear more noise the rest of our stay. The summer heat was just beginning, and the home stayed cool throughout the day. We would stay at Brad’s home again next time we visit the Shenandoah National Park!

Private cabin in the woods! +Picnic Area On 5 Ac

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This cabin is incredibly magical and romantic, especially at night with all of the solar lights that slowly turn on to give just enough light everywhere, lighting up the backyard. An overall super peaceful and serene spot tucked so nicely in the woods. The birds and small wildlife were so fun to watch. The cabin itself was very clean and the host was kind enough to allow us early check in and late check out! The kitchen is well stocked with necessities and the grill was awesome. Large selection of movies to choose from. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was spacious—equipped with a fancy bidet! 10/10, will stay here again.
