Andrew's house was exactly as described and depicted. It is well-outfitted for guests, both inside and outside. His communication was outstanding both in terms of response times (pretty much immediate replies) and providing information. His house manual is probably the best one I have seen. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely hope to rent his home again.

This home was perfect! We needed something accessible since my husband is in a wheelchair and this was perfect. Dock was easily accessible, doors were wide enough and there was a ramp leading to the entrance. Shawn was very helpful and responsive. He made us feel welcome and like he was there for anything we may have needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This listing was perfect and convenient. Extremely clean and one of the better stocked (kitchen, bathroom, etc. - even bug spray for the patio) rentals we've stayed in. The screened porch was a nice bonus - although we didn't get to use the covered outdoor separated patio area - it would be a place to hang at for future trips with more time. Haggerty's Steakhouse was recommended and one of the better ribeye sandwiches I've had in a long time. If you're looking for a rental within 5min of each of the Roanoke Rapids Lake ramps - this is the place. Ample parking (but a little tight if you have kayak and/or boat trailers - you could make it work with some creative parking and maneuvering though - good outdoor power for charging batteries as well - covered outdoor space would be convenient for keeping boat dry and/or rigging tackle.

We absolutely loved Brian and Michele‘s place. The location was perfect – so close to the winery and so close to the lake. We were up here for a family gathering over Easter weekend and the entire setting really helped us achieve our Easter goals of being with family and having fun. We would definitely come back again.
