Beachfront holiday rental in Whitefish Lake

This cabin is perfect if you want to avoid the crowds but still be close enough to Glacier National Park for easy day trips. It’s tucked away in the woods with its own private spot on Spoon Lake — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The lake is small with beautiful mountain views, and since motorboats aren’t allowed, it was perfect for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The cabin provided all the gear, so we didn’t need to bring or rent any water equipment. Inside, there’s a bedroom downstairs and a loft that’s fun for kids. (Just note that the ladder to the loft is better suited for older or more adventurous kids.) We appreciated the thoughtful extras like a snack basket, good coffee, and bug spray. Be mindful that the driveway is steep — a 4WD vehicle is a must. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

John and Tina made us feel right at home on their beautiful piece of paradise by the lake. Great down to earth people! The cabin like home was cozy and had what we needed for our stay. We loved being able to kayak, be taken on a boat ride around the lake by the hosts, enjoy a campfire, and just enjoy/relax by the lake. Definitely will stay here again if in the area!

This location really can't be beat. The private beach was amazing on a warm day. We were able to swim and paddle our boards, right from the backyard. There is easy access to the biking trails and downtown as well. The house was as described, and fit our family with room to spare.

Great location on the lake! close enough to town and amenities. The views from the deck are incredible! We grilled each night and loved eating outside with a view! You can walk down to the lake (a bit of a hill) and hang out by the water. The beds were really comfortable. The host was very nice. She greeted us upon arrival, showed us around and answered any questions. She was also very kind by providing a few local treats. We would love to come back and stay again in the future.

Beautiful property on Flathead Lake with stunning views. Dorothy is fast to respond and helpful! Check in with ease, well stocked property/kitchen, plenty of towels and snacks available. Great location to view the surrounding towns and Glacier National Park! We enjoyed the hiking, fishing, canoeing and local eats/bars🤍 Would definitely stay here again, it’s just beautiful and serene sitting in one of the many outdoor areas available! The Bates Boat Motel was simply amazing. It is a wonderful place to stay while on Ashley Lake. We were lucky the main house was not rented, otherwise, it would not have been nearly as private. But, that wouldn't deter us in the future. Lindsay was very responsive to our needs and came out to the cabin the first day to replace batteries in a smoke alarm that was chirping. There were a couple items that could use repair, but overall, the house is very well stocked and in working order. Their are a couple kayaks and a stand up paddle board. If renting the speed boat, there are lots of life jackets in various sizes, a surf board, wake board, water skis, a slalom ski and a few wetsuits. Things we would think about bringing or suggest stocking would be several folding camp chairs and some fresh pool cues. We loved this place and plan on coming back!

The condo unit was very well appointed and private. We loved the view of the lake and peaceful neighborhood. The beach area is clean and private, and we enjoyed the pool/whirlpool/sauna after a day of hiking. Everything is nicely updated and very comfortable. The only negative aspect is that the bedroom was a little stuffy and dimly lit unless you have the blind up, but then you lose some privacy to the parking area. Overall this was a lovely place to stay that is close to downtown, City Beach and the Whitefish River paths. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to the area!

This property is beautiful and such a great location. We were able to walk to downtown and spend many hours on the beach and lake. We will definitely be back. With air conditioning only upstairs it was a little hot downstairs, but we were also there the hottest week of the summer. The host was accommodating with fans for each bedroom.

Beautiful location! Felt like a cabin in the woods right on the lake! Love the balcony. Only thing we didn’t realize that it is a shared balcony with two other condos. We still loved sitting outside and it was very peaceful! Great location! Just minutes drive away from the businesses of Whitefish. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was that the shower is a bit small.

The location is great, beautiful view and super close to town - you can even walk into town if you want to do so or its like a 4 min drive. It is a condo, so at times you can hear the neighbors but overall its great value. The staff was really fast and supportive when we had a couple questions and it was greatly appreciated.

My friends and I loved our stay at this Airbnb! It was exactly what we needed to spend our nights after visiting glacier national park for the day. The location was perfect, as it was so close to the entrance of the park. Great find!

We had an amazing stay – this place was truly a gem for our family! The space was clean, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped for both adults and kids. From the cozy living areas to the fully stocked kitchen, everything was thoughtfully prepared to make us feel right at home. What really made it stand out was how family-friendly it was. There were toys and games for the kids, a safe outdoor space for them to run around, and even little touches like high chairs and child-friendly utensils that made life so much easier. For the adults, we appreciated the peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibe – a perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The location was also ideal – close to local attractions, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Whether we wanted a day full of adventure or just a quiet evening in, we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The host was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

5 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟 all around. I sought a quiet place for a writing retreat, and Jennifer's lakeside cottage was perfect. The house and yard were inviting, the huge windows looking out over the lake provided inspiring views, the house was well-equipped for my stay, and it was nice to be close enough to Big Fork to take advantage of Jennifer's recommendations for a few meals out. And Jennifer was a welcoming host.

This place was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend. Amazing views, cozy rooms, and private access to Whitefish Lake, all made our vacation one to remember. Enjoy the sunsets on the dock, the brewery down the street, and the peace and quiet of beautiful Montana. Highly recommend!

Jenna s Place for our Family of 6 was very adequate - Family Spas a real highlight! Would Describe the Lakehouse as a 2 Bedroom Place with a shared Bunk in downstairs living space & loft bedroom with 2 x single beds only accessible via a steep ladder - Not really adequate for our adult children - The only negative was the Lake level being at the end of a shallow bay NO Water at all out The front so looked nothing like the photos not saying this is deliberate but i think when you book a lakehouse and pay accordingly and there is no water out the front it was a bit disappointing - Other than that the place was in a beautiful peaceful location - Lots of kayaks & paddle boards available so we were atleast able to carry down to water and had a couple of great afternoons paddling around lake ! Overall we enjoyed our stay !

Quiet, comfy cabin right on the lake. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and hopping on the lake. Big Fork was a cute little town to explore for about half a day as well! Scott is very friendly and informative.

The location is great, close to town. The balcony is great with a bbq grill to enjoy the nice weather out with some lake view. The host is very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. Nice size pool and relaxing hot tub after a day of adventure. Comfortable and clean with great amenities!

Brian's cabin was absolutely perfect! The beds were insanely comfortable, the cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed! The property and views were like a dream! Our boys loved playing in the yard, swinging on the swings, and playing on the beach. Brian was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely book again! Totally worth it!

Part of me wants to lie and say this place sucked so it’s not all booked up next time we try to make a reservation. To say this place is a hidden gem is an understatement. Jason and Andrea were above and beyond as hosts from the minute they greeted us and showed us around. The breakfast they served did not disappoint; her triple berry scones are to die for! They lit a fire at 8 every night creating an opportunity to casually get to know other guests. If they’ll have us we hope to start a family tradition and come back for many years to come! Thanks again Jason and Andrea, y’all kicked our wedding off to a great start!

This was one the best stays I’ve had. From the start, I felt welcomed. The apartment building is well taken care of and the elevator makes the trips upstairs a lot more convenient. The apartment is BEAUTIFUL, the views are immaculate and it’s very clean. I loved how well stocked it was and overall I have no complaints except the fact that the time flew by when we were there. I will definitely be coming back, and definitely staying longer! Bigfork stole our hearts and this place too. Highly recommend it!
