Lake house holiday rentals in Whitefish

Words and pictures don't do this place justice. We had an incredible stay, everything from the house's layout, unique design, and cleanliness to the amazing location right on Foy's Lake was made for a stay we will remember forever. We loved waking up to the serene views of the shimmering lake, surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We could see ducks and geese and other wildlife and walk down to the lake just steps from the house. It was a super short drive into Kalispell for shopping and restaurants. I can't say enough good things about the host, property, and location. We are already planning for our next Sanctuary Vacation Rental. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home, this lakefront gem is the perfect choice. Thanks so much for everything!"

Very cute place and we enjoyed our stay! Beds were super comfy and decor was adorable and very clean! The only thing I would add to your listing is that we didn’t realize we had to cross a busy highway to get to the lake as that was pretty dangerous with a 4 year old running to get across all of the time. We thought the house was right on the lake. House however is super cute and comfy and Blue Bay is so pretty! Host was responsive and I loved how clean and modern the house was. Would book again!

The house is beautiful, very well maintained and spacious. Very well stocked, every time we thought of something we needed it was there. The view of the lake and mountains is amazing! The area is very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave.

The house was great!! It is newly renovated and cozy. The beds were super comfy!! It has a great private spot on the lake. The area is really pretty - pine, lakes and deer everywhere! We found some great food close by. I would definitely recommend.

Peaceful... Gorgeous views and the perfect place to unwind for a few days. This truly felt like we were guests at a friend's home. Everything was well thought out and accommodating. I highly recommend it!!

What a beautiful house and location! The Lilypad is in pristine condition and offers kayaks and lakefront access. The house is next to the public boat launch for the lake but that didn't bother us. The lake views are amazing from inside and outside the house!

Beautiful home with breathtaking views! Fireplaces and hot tub are amazing for relaxing and the house is a great location for exploring the area. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Great place.

Charley’s Cottage is a super special little place! It was exactly as described (if not better) and such an easy walk to the beach. The lake access itself makes this place a total gem! For a dog friendly place, you’d never know there were dogs that stay there, everything was so nice for our stay. Jen, Jenny and Chris were such gracious hosts and I can’t wait to visit Charley’s Cottage again!

The location is beautiful, private and so much natural beauty to enjoy. The stars in the Montana big night sky above did not disappoint! We were looking for a private get away spot for our family coming from three different states to join together and make some good memories. We did, it was a very good fit for us.

Great spot for summer lake fun or winter snowmobiling. Jordan is a great host and excellent communicator.

This spot was a great value and a good location. Really enjoyed the views of the waterside and the lake. At night however, it's not a wonderful location. It is situated pretty close to the highway on a hill, so there is constant jake-braking going on. It didn't bother me too much, but may disturb light sleepers. May be less of an issue in cooler weather when windows aren't left open. Do note that while there is internet service at the house, it is pretty slow relative to city service. The access situation to the beach/dock area is a little odd. There are posted signs that it's only supposed to be used by guests of the RV park. However, this particular property is shown on the RV park brochure...Maybe they own it or there's an arrangement? Either way, we used the area to get into the water and run around on the lawn without incident.

This home was so percent! It was better than we expected. The photos do not do this place justice! The bedrooms on the main floor were helpful for people who didn’t want to go upstairs. There is so much space to spread out. The view is stunning and the dock and canoes were fun to play with. The kids enjoyed swimming. Lovely neighbors that we befriended. Close to the parks, Costco, Walmart will deliver to you if you have Walmart+. Plenty of towels was a plus and we never ran out of hot water with 13 of us there. The kitchen was well equipped. Joan was responsive and helpful. Would love to come back!

This might be one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! You can tell Dawn has exceptional attention to detail and went the extra mile to make sure her home had everything we could need. We loved having a true ski in/out lodging and the hot tub next to the slope was an extra treat! The beds were comfortable and everything worked as expected. The 5 of us had plenty of room to gather and also felt like we had our own space. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with quality products and ingredients. No notes! We'll be back!

They house and area were perfect! Our stay was great and peaceful. Super comfortable beds. Felt safe during our stay and host was very helpful and friendly.

This private little cabin was in a perfect location. It was so close to Big Mountain ski resort so we were able to avoid the traffic, but so close to Whitefish too. The cabin is exactly as described. We had everything we could think of and more. It was truly a home away from home. They thought of everything to make our vacation perfect. We hope to rent this cabin again in the future. Also, the owners were very responsive.

Wow! This is the most amazing place! The cabin itself is in a wonderful location- right inside the entrance to Glacier and in walkable distance to Apgar and Lake McDonald. The house is cozy, clean and has every amenity (and more!) that you could ever want in an AirBNB. There is a helpful app that they provide ahead of time that gives you all of the information you need to enjoy the area. It was such a great place for our family to unwind and a great place to use as a base camp in exploring Glacier!

Great spot, 10 min from downtown, 5 min from Whitefish Resort, and steps way from the hot tub and sauna. Awesome little community! House is very comfortable and cozy. Only grip would be the internet speeds, there were extremely slow and cut out from time to time. Luckily it wasn’t really big deal for our group; as we were out skiing majority of the time. Also, Nina was very thorough in her check in instructions and community layout and procedures. Very responsive as well. Would definitely recommend.

This was an amazing getaway for my kids and I! We were so close to GNP and several fun areas…I really enjoyed my morning coffee with the deer, geese and other animals in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this spot for a quiet, private and beautiful taste of Montana. Our first time visiting and hope to be back!

We had an amazing place at this property, what a beautiful home and location. Bruce and Kelly were absolutely incredible to make us feel welcome and just like home! We were checking in late and not only did Kelly wait for us but got us groceries for dinner and breakfast! Best hosts we ever had! All our friends kept asking where is this beautiful place with these views. The lake and boat launch is very close and the lake is incredibly beautiful and clean and pretty warm. Thanks again!

The farmhouse and the view are even better than the pictures. We felt right at home and celebrated a big family event. Beds are comfortable with plenty or bathrooms. There are numerous added touches that I have not found elsewhere. Linda was quick to respond to any inquiries. We will definitely return if the opportunity arises. I now understand and love ‘big sky Montana’.

We really did feel right at home. It was comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. I would not have changed anything about our visit. I felt like I got exactly what was described and nothing was disappointing. It was great!

This was a beautiful and peaceful location, right on the lake with natural charm like deer and geese by the lake. We enjoyed making smores at the fireplace and taking the canoe out on the lake. The fireplace was charming! Brittany was an excellent host, great at timely communicarikns and helped us get some items back that we forgot to pack. We would definitely return again!
