Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. This little haven is close to a great fishing spot at Meadow Grounds State Park lake. Hiking at Cowens Gap State Park. And Buchanan's Birthplace State Park not far away. You can relax as you watch the sunset for one of the two overlooks on neighboring mountains. Come and enjoy it for yourself!

We have a generator! Never be without power during your vacation. Come spend the winter by the woodstove! Take a trip to The Woods in Wild, Wonderful West Virginia. Cabin on the Run is named after the beautiful run running behind the property with a babbling soundscape that can be heard from the expansive deck. Cabin on the Run provides all modern amenities so that you only need to bring clothes and food for a trip away.

Whether its historical sight-seeing, culturally diverse restaurants, or local craft beer, there is plenty to see and do in this area. Built in 2021, this apartment is on the lower level of our custom built home. It also has a fully equipped gym. Pet friendly, No smoking, No parties.
