Holiday rentals with beach access in Whitley Bay

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Great location and all as described. Nice cafes nearby. Two mins from Cullercoats beach and 50 meters from metro. Really clean. Recommend taking extra towels if staying more than a couple if days . Overall a fantastic stay

Had a lovely weeks stay. The flat was lovely and homely, very well equipped, extremely comfortable bed and very clean. Good recommendations from Host of places to visit which was useful. Brilliant to have off road parking and be able to walk into Tynemouth. Will most certainly be back. Thank you

A lovely, spacious apartment with lovely bees across to Warkworth castle. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It’s in a great location for walking into Amble and exploring the southern part of Northumberland.

A little gem of a cottage Very cleverly designed It was in a great location so near to all the amenities in Amble We did a road trip up to Alnwick and Seahorses. Over the sand dunes, in Amble, are amazing quiet beaches where you can sit read and look out to Coquet Island. The cottage had a lovely feeling to it and I loved the roll topped bath A definite place to return to .Amble has lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. We tried a few and loved them all Thanks for having us 😁

Neat, clean and spacious apartment. Excellent provisions for children (would note there are split level stairs if your child is mobile) and felt very welcomed.

I had a great stay the place was so comfortable and spotless warm and cosy close to all amenities definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic weekend by the coast where Lynne’s cosy and comfortable flat was an ideal escape. Huge bedroom with plenty of storage and a very comfortable bed. Very spacious and well appointed bathroom. Cosy living room with plenty of room to relax and dine and a great sized kitchen equipped with anything you’d need for a short break or week away. The place was immaculately clean throughout. Lynne was very friendly and prompt responding to messages when booking and before arrival. Cannot recommend enough. If I’m looking for a short stay on the coast again I’ll definitely book again!

we needed a place to stay for 3 of us as we were spending the weekend at the Beamish museum. 15 mins away it was perfect for our needs. Joan was helpful and responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better host. highly recommend.

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Great stay in this lovely house. Everything was as described. Fantastic location with plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep. We walked into Warkworth following a beautiful country bridleway and returned after 8 miles and relaxed in the wonderful hot tub. Leo enjoyed himself on the beach too. Perfect place to stay, thank you

Steph’s place is lovely, it’s like a tardis, everywhere was spotless lean comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen and a beach a few minutes walk away, highly recommended, thank you Steph

Oriel House was stunning! One of the best places we have stayed in. It was spacious, well equipped, very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Bedding and towels were super clean. Opening the curtains in the morning from the main bedroom to a beautiful castle was so lovely. Walking distance to a shop, pubs and the beach. Grace was a great host, she replied very quickly and gave information/recommendations and the welcome treat on arrival was a lovely touch. We didn’t want to leave Oriel House as we had a fab time. Definitely recommend Oriel House and Northumberland. ❤️❤️

A delightful home in which to stay, decorated and styled to a high degree. It was easy to find and parking was a breeze. Lynda contacted us to inform us that we could gain entry earlier than previously informed which was a bonus as we had arrived in Amble earlier than expected. The welcoming bottle of wine was a lovely thought too! Amble and Marine Cottage were lovely places to stay and hopefully we will be back soon!

I ha a wonderful stay with my family the place is clean and walking distance to the beach. The hosts was very proactive and helpful. I really felt at home and comfortable. Regards Fabion

We absolutely loved our stay here, the perfect base to explore the area. It's a well equipped and comfortable space with all you need. Benjamin is a lovely host and is very responsive. We already can't wait to come back! By far our favourite place to visit.

This was my first stay at Roker apartments and it mot disappoint! It was spotless, we were well informed every step of the way, Ivan is a fantastic host and nothing is too trouble, I really hope this apartment is available on my next trip to roker!

A lovely little flat, full of character. The clear instructions and photos made it easy to get in. We felt right at home and slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Thank you for having us Deb.

My husband and I were visiting my son, daughter in law and their 5 month old baby who live in Heaton. My niece was with us from Canada so we wanted somewhere comfortable, with plenty to do and easy access to our son’s home. This property was the first one I looked at. It exceeded our expectations, we loved the location, parking pass provided for the weekend. Views from rooms front and back are spectacular. We especially liked walking into Tynemouth, such a lovely place with lots of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops plus independent shops which is always nice to see. As I stated before we all enjoyed the indoor market. We had a lovely weekend.

Lovely clean and well presented accommodating including a well stocked biscuit tin. Kitchen was very clean and as was the rest of the flat and the flat and the walk-in shower/bathroom was very easy as was the shower, with great water pressure. Finally, all within a stones throw of a host of restaurants.

Fab stay at Diane's place. Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. Loved the location which is peaceful and close to the beach and nature, yet also a great base for exploring.

Thank you Lynn for a wonderful 4 days at your apartment. Bringing my mum and dad back to Sunderland after years away has been made so much nicer by having a perfect place to say. Communication has been excellent since the day I booked to the day you met us when we arrived. Seeing my parents smiles when we walked in told me I had made the right choice, you were so welcoming and the views from the living room are amazing, everything was fantastic and your advice on where to go for the football was perfect 👌🏻 Communication has been excellent and it was so good to meet you on our arrival, hopefully we will return in the near future as there are still many places to return to for more reminiscing.
