Luxury Farmhouse in Teesdale with Hot Tub

JohnRating, 5 stars2 months ago
It was lovely staying at Paula’s place. The house is amazing and there was ample space for the 7 of us. We all found the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the multiple bathrooms meant each room has effectively their own one. The hot tub was the cherry on top and it was pure bliss ending our days relaxing in it! Paula was extremely helpful, friendly and communicative. Having told her that one of us had their birthday, she offered to pick up a cake for them if we wanted, and while we didn’t take her up on her offer, she still had a bottle of Prosecco and a small cake waiting for us when we arrived! Paula’s place is very well situated to explore Yorkshire, including both the Dales to the west and the Moores to the East. Local attractions also included Raby castle and beautiful village of Barnard Castle, which was also the nearest hub for shops and restaurants, an 8 minute drive away. Thanks Paula for your hospitality. We’ll gladly return!

The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at Treetops. From the moment you shut the gate you feel like the stresses of the outside world have disappeared! Everything has been thought of and more! We loved watching movies on the giant screen, playing darts on the deck and eating tapas whilst watching the cows in the field through the tree canopy. Lisa and Martin are on hand if you have a queries or need anything but you wouldn’t know anyone was nearby as the whole place is so secluded and private! We loved the outdoor shower, what a treat and enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain! If you are unsure of wondering if it’s worth the money, DON’T hesitate you will never regret it! A truly special place and you can see the effort in every detail!

Fairbeck an idyllic & romantic woodland retreat

AnneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What can I say, an absolute gem and amazing value! I absolutely loved my stay, Julie & Tim were so welcoming and friendly, they put me at ease and made me feel right at home. They were so helpful and always at hand for anything I needed, but gave me my space and privacy. Lovely people. And the cottage was absolutely perfect! Every detail had been thought about, so although it is quite small it felt really spacious and had everything I needed, and more. Lovely quality toiletries and accessories, and an amazing breakfast hamper. The bed was super comfy, excellent mattress and soft bedding, the best nights sleep as so peaceful. Then the location… stunning! A private wood set in rolling countryside, so peaceful and quiet. Saw pheasants, squirrels and a variety of birds from my bedroom window, and just along the lane saw hares. Loved the outside space, and wish I’d had more time to make use of the treehouse and hammocks (I was on a work trip). I’ve booked to stay again and can’t wait!

Chestnut Cottage Ravensworth

RainbowRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at the chestnut cottage. The cottage looked just as it did in the photos and was clean and well decorated. It was situated in a lovely peaceful village just 10 mins from a local town. The hosts were lovely and gave lots of suggestions for walks and places to go nearby. We managed to get squeezed in for Sunday lunch at the pub attached and this was definitely a highlight as the food was the best pub food we have had in a long time with a lovely, pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend if you are wanting a long weekend away.

Country Manor House - Nr Richmond North Yorkshire

VanessaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
10 of us stayed at WL Manor for a long weekend to celebrate my son's wedding and the Manor made it feel even more special. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated in a stately home sort of way plus chicken and ducks in the garden! Richard was available for any queries and also helped in suggestions for pubs and taxis. Plus he supplied extra bedding and kettles that we found very helpful. We really recommend a stay here.

Historic peaceful cottage in town centre!

AdamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I stayed here before attending a wedding in Barnard Castle. It’s a great location on the high street. Two nice bedrooms and a spacious area downstairs. It’s easy to find. I came on my home but would happily return with family to look around the town more.
