Capers Landing was a wonderful gem we discovered during our visit to Nova Scotia. Nikki has put a great deal of thought and planning into making the home comfortable and delightfully decorated. Her attention to detail really shows. A high priority for us is how kitchens are equipped. This kitchen was both well equipped, modern and had stunning views of the waterfront. The Internet was very fast. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms had a luxury appointments. Our only wish is we had planned a longer stay. It is clear why this home gets so booked up. Sky-high yurt with amazing view of the river

We loved our stay in the Singing Bowls yurt. The yurt and surroundings were stunning. Large windows cover a quarter of the yurt and look out over a wide river, where we got to watch the sunrise and eagles flying over head. The inside is beautifully decorated and includes everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. There is a private outhouse a minute from the yurt, and it's got to be the nicest outhouse ever made haha Andrea and Clay are both lovely people. This is our second time staying with them (we were in another yurt last time, which was also gorgeous), and we'll definitely be back some time!

We loved the setting of this home. Amanda was very responsive when we had an issue and resolved it quickly and to our satisfaction. We loved the location and were able to explore the Cabot trail , found great restaurants and recommend taking the small and free ferry’s in the area that will shorten local drive times and are very efficient.

We wanted a chance to switch off after a busy period and this location was perfect. Inside was cosy yet spacious so we felt we could spread out and unwind with lots of games and books available. Outside was stunning with a lot of our time spent admiring the lake view and wonderful weather. The icing on the cake though was the availability of Kayaks and a launch pontoon to escape onto the lake and get lost in the absolute calm out there. We honestly cannot fault Jean and Angela and are so grateful for their responsiveness and happiness to help with any little questions we had. We would love to go back if they will have us again!

The Applecross Chalet

Applecross has lovely views from a beautiful deck - the photos don’t lie! The whole house felt new and clean. Beds were comfortable, towels and linens were great, laundry and bathroom facilities were very good. The two downstairs bedrooms with queen beds were super quiet. The main bedroom has both a king and a double bed. It’s a nice room with a good ensuite, although it would benefit from sturdy blinds or curtains (the gorgeous view also brings a lot of early morning light) and a moveable screen or room divider to help with privacy if that’s wanted by people sharing the room. The barbecue is excellent and the kitchen had the basics. The hosts’ instructions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. My family and I would happily stay here again.
