Het huis ligt in een zeer rustige omgeving tussen de velden en weilanden. Hier kan u genieten van de stilte en het ruisen van de bomen van het achterliggende bos. De ruime en lichte studio op de bovenverdieping van onze gerenoveerde hoeve beschikt over een kitchenette, queensize bed, tv-hoek, eethoek en aparte badkamer met lavabo, douche en toilet. De kamer is wel volledig verduisterbaar. Er is een ruime parkeergelegenheid op het terrein en stalling voor fietsen in de bijgebouwen.

The Black Alder

Unique chalet in the middle of the woods, close to numerous hiking and cycling trails. This chalet is a gem for those who love peace and quiet. The domain is fully fenced. You can park the car inside the fence. The chalet has utilities, water, electricity and central heating and has a unique view of the pond. You can spot rare birds such as the kingfisher. There is Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The coffee maker is a Senseo. In the neighborhood, there are eateries and supermarkets.

La Granota

On top of the Heistse mountain, you are less than 5 minutes away from the Heistse shopping street with breakfast and other eateries, cozy cafes with terraces and the cultural center. Music lover? The famous Hnita Jazzhoeve is 2 km away, the Werchter meadow 15 km. La Granota is only 20 minutes' walk from the train station. Leuven or Antwerp are therefore close by. Guests are always very welcome! Only in winter we do not rent out because we organize photo exhibitions there.

Huis Felix is een warme plek in de Netevallei. Lier en Antwerpen zijn niet veraf, maar de Nijlense natuur is absoluut een troef. Het huis werd met veel passie ingericht. Koffie ? Muziekje ? Doe het op de ouderwetse manier met een koffiezetapparaat en een platenspeler. Traag genieten, daar draait het om bij Huis Felix. I am Hanne (musician and furniture maker) and live with my 2 sons in the cozy Herenthout. The cottage in our garden has been renovated in a unique way with as many recovered materials and furniture as possible. The furniture changes regularly and is also for sale! It is an open space with separate bathroom and toilet. The sleeping area can be closed off with a curtain.
