Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Wilderness

We had the most wonderful stay in Knysna from 01 to 04 May 2025! The place was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cosy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It felt like a home away from home. Grant, our host, was incredibly helpful and kind. He made sure we were comfortable and assisted us with any queries we had throughout our stay. Thank you, Grant, for your warm hospitality! We’d definitely love to come back again.

It was peaceful. And a safe area. And Al the shops are close buy. And the community area is a great. There halo full. We enjoyed our stay. And that you to them for being under standing.

Great host, he gave me local recommendations and places to try even on drive over, and welcomed me in person which was much appreciated after a long journey. The apartment was very comfortable, private with secure parking. Good WiFi. My only negative is that I wish I’d stayed longer ! Highly recommended

Thanks for an amazing stay! Our stay was beautiful and pleasant. The flat is clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The hosts are also very accommodating and will go out of their way to make your stay nice. We look forward to staying there again one day. The flat is very close to a beautiful beach that is never busy, and 10min away from a weekly outdoor market that stocks all the food and artisanal items you could hope for, all high quality and at good prices. The flat is just a short drive outside of central Wilderness, meaning it’s close enough to everything but still a bit out of the way so that the area is never crowded or busy. The sunsets seen from the benches next to the beach are some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. If you’re a light sleeper and the dogs sometimes bother you at night, just let the hosts know and they’ll put them away in their houses during the night.

A lovely stay, so much so we extended our stay, twice! Carene and team were very sweet and accommodating. We plan to visit again next year, 2026! Thank you

Good place to stay if you travel with BazBus. Close to the Center were you can reach everything by foot. From the top room you see the sea over the street. During day there is a lot of traffic, in the night you don't hear much. Big kitchen with a lot of equipment, Wifi and TV. 5 min walk to the beach. Delicious Restaurants by foot

We absolutely loved staying here for the Vic Bay quads surfing contest. The house is right on the beach and is the perfect base for a family wanting to enjoy all that Vic Bay and its beautiful surrounds has to offer. Our kids could run to the beach or chill in the house. We slept super well and hope to stay again next time!

Peaceful, rustic farm living with a great view and incredible sunsets. Spacious bedrooms and living area and nice big outside space for kids to play. Close to some good hikes, a lovely beach (Buffalo Bay), a river for canoeing and farmers markets. And not too far away if you need to head into town (Knysna or Wilderness).

For golfers this is a fantastic location as there is easy access to a least five excellent courses. If you like a tranquil home with great views and security this is the place for you. Ideally situated on the Garden route it is a great place to base your explorations. Delarey is a very amenable and enthusiastic host who ensured that we had a great stay with all the home comforts and pizza oven! We are looking forward to returning next year.

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

Stunning location and Emelda is the best host . She went out of her way for our family and my boys loved the space and freedom .We were even lucky enough to see the bush buck and the bird life is amazing . House had everything you would need and more .

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Knysna sehr genossen! Ein tolles Haus in toller Lage mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über die Lagune. Vanessa und Sheldon sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die stets gut zu erreichen waren und uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden haben. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt.
