The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

Ruslan and Staff were terrific! Accommodating, great communication. The bed was comfortable, room presented exactly as described, mini freezer/fridge came in handy. Fantastic location - center of action short walk to local attractions. Varsity Inn, a staple if OC right around the corner - bonus!! If another need arises would definitely stay again! It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

Great place to stay and relax, friendly neighborhood, and some bars close by for comfort.

Had a great week at the Brooklyn beach club will be looking to book again next summer!

Very pretty , very quiet which is great, no troubles except there were a few steps that were wobbly on the stair case up which was a little scary because you tend to be up and down steps a lot. Very very clean . Cute ice cream place close by

Leanne was an amazing host! She always responded timely and was very helpful in answering my questions. The place itself was lovely and perfect for a weekend beach getaway!! I would definitely stay here again and so would my guests!

This is a lovely, comfortable condo just one block from the beach. There are excellent restaurants and even a microbrewery just steps away. Meghan is a wonderful host who was flexible and responsive with arrangements. It was a perfect weekend getaway with my adult children.

Nice to stay at and peaceful and the beds are comfortable and does not have bed bugs !!

We visit Avalon every summer over Labor Day Weekend to enjoy the beach and the area. Meghan emailed a few days ahead of time with very thorough check-in/out instructions. Meghan's place is right across the street from the Windrift which is perfect. We went over there for snacks and drinks almost every night. The unit was clean and very comfortable. It's small but space is optimized with the L-shaped couch and King sized bed. The unit being right over the pool did result in some noise in the afternoon when families had returned from the beach and the kids were taking their pre-dinner dips, but it was nothing that isn't expected in a summer resort town on LDW. We enjoyed the vibes, but if you are someone who does not appreciate that, maybe consider staying during the off-season instead. Good news is, the bedroom is located at the back of the unit and therefore away from the pool noise if you're needing the post-beach nap. We will absolutely be staying again next summer!

My friends and I stayed at Edwin's place for the country music fest. The room was exactly as described and was very clean. It was within walking distance of the boardwalk and beach. Safe neighborhood, we had to park down the street as we had more than one car but there was free street parking less than a block away. Pool was clean and there are 4 grills along with picnic tables. We had a great stay and look forward to booking again!

Great view of the fireworks on Friday nights. We stepped out onto the balcony and they were right infront of us. Enjoyed the show from the chairs next to our door. Awesome pool. Large size rooms. A minute or two walk to the boardwalk. We would definitely book here again. The kids and I had a very nice time!

Had a good time staying at the Coastal Sands Inn. Host was friendly and the rooms were as pictured.

Have been visiting the shore for the past 38 years of my life. By far the best I’ve stayed at yet!

Great place to stay! It was within walking distance to mostly everything we needed during our long weekend. Owner was also very responsive to any inquiries prior to check-in.
