We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Airbnb. Patricia was super friendly and even had all kinds of fun toys ready for our 1.5 year old daughter. Very sweet! The Airbnb itself was very cozy and nice. Definitely recommended! The chickens that roam by complete the whole :)

Fantastic house with a very beautiful soul. You'll quickly feel good and it allows you to fully enjoy the stay. We went with a baby and everything we needed was already set up. We will most certainly go back!

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the accommodation was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The host was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is within walking distance. The parking for four vehicles directly at the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

We booked Jos' accommodation for four for a week and were thrilled! The house offers plenty of space, is quietly located and was equipped with everything. Games, kitchen utensils such as blenders or baking pans... nothing was missing! It was also very clean. In 2 minutes walk you are at the water. It was GREAT.

We were there the second time. Great accommodation and beautiful grounds. The large pool is heated and therefore great for the whole family even in not so hot weather.

We (group of friends) were at the cottage for the 3rd time. It is a wonderful, cozy, very complete house. You have everything you need. Just do it!

We were six on a family vacation with two kids and grandma and grandpa. We had a great time at Karin's house. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished. The park offers many activities, but not everything is described as on the homepage (e.g. electric cars for kids are not in operation). We were in the off-season in May and there was already quite a lot of activity in the park. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. For us with the kids, it was perfect. The beach is fantastic. Would love to come back!

Everything was great!

We booked the stay last minute and it was perfect. We were looking for something near Bobbejaanland and something that is also nice and fun with the children. And that worked. The children slept wonderfully on the sofa bed, after we played cozy games that were present. We slept wonderfully in a very nice and large double bed. The bathroom was fantastic. Very nice and modern, spacious and a beautiful glass ceiling.

Had a wonderful 2 nights. The bedroom is really like a hotel room, nice bed, lovely bedding and tastefully furnished. If you're not so like bathing, be aware that there is no shower. In the living room nice sofa, chairs and a stove! Bring your own wood, but very easy to light. Recommended!

Very lovely and peaceful place. It felt like home. I love how Karen & Tom did put an effort to make this place a special stay for guests. Clear instructions, friendly & responsive host, spotless place, well equipped kitchen, peaceful & romantic place in the nature. Supermarkets are like 5 minutes driving in a lovely small town. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi. Whenever I’m in the area I would definitely book this place again.

The host was very welcoming, showed us around. The place was quiet in a farming community.

We slept here for a wedding nearby and it was perfect! A nice house with everything you need. The host was incredibly friendly and flexible, which made the stay extra pleasant. Definitely recommended

The house is an historical Dutch house, direct on a canal- absolutely quiet, charming neighborhood with chickens next door and a wonderful bakery right around the corner. The kitchen is on the ground floor, an elegant living- and dining room on the first floor with hardwood floors. Then VERY steep stairs (not for the weak of heart, small children or people with knee problems) going up to the 2nd floor with a big master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds (not really good for us, a group of five 68-72 yr old women) and a nice bathroom with plenty of room. The top floor had a „double“ bed, but too narrow for two of us, and a small bath. I think 6 adults would be a tight squeeze in the house unless they‘re all young and cozy with each other. Schidam is a charming suburb of R‘damm, where we never would have gone if we hadn’t booked the house there. All in all, a WONDERFUL house and well worth the extra travel to and from R‘damm.

But what truly sets this place apart is the sheer amount of things to do and explore. Whether you're interested in art, history, or simply enjoying a unique experience, there's something for everyone. Overall, I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth a trip.

We liked this home very much. I can mention just two things that could be a problem for future guests. First, the stairway to the bedrrom is very steep with small steps. We could not have carried our luggage up that stairway. Second, all the information about the home (e.g., wifi) is in Dutch. Fortunately, we know some Dutch and could read it. The home is very well furnished and was perfectly clean. It is a short walk to the train station and to the town center — a perfect location.

The place was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was lovely looking out onto the garden which was very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. There was also secure storage for our bikes.

Beautiful accommodation 1 minute walk from the center! Plenty to do nearby. Wonderfully relaxing accommodation with everything you need in the house. In one word: Great!

We had a great time with the whole family and the dog in this cozy place. Craak-white sheets and nice beds for a wonderful night's sleep. And everything for a large group is available, large pans, crockery in large quantities, garden furniture, etc. At 10 minutes drive there are beautiful nature reserves to visit, in short, all the ingredients were present! There was warning of possible nuisance from the neighboring company Akkermans, which was not too bad in our case. Thank you Jos, also for the nice communication!

The accommodation and the host are awesome! Lisette is the greatest hostess you can imagine. We had a varied breakfast with, for example, homemade bread, yogurt and eggs. It was beautifully prepared in an extra room. Communication with Lisette was quick and straightforward. The place was clean and nicely decorated. It is a great starting point to go to Delft, The Hague or the sea (we were at Monster Beach). The weather was not so great, but we were able to read a lot in the cozy living room 🤓 The three days were pure relaxation! Thank you!

Spent a week in the beautiful cottage of Marleen and Wout. The house is perfectly equipped, everything was very well maintained great !!! Communication with Marleen and Wout also worked out great and you always made all the important information available to us quickly. From Herkingen you can easily reach all excursion destinations by car. We were very, very satisfied that we were allowed to spend our week in Herkingen in this beautiful cottage. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We were warmly welcomed by Klaas Jan. Refrigerator was well stocked and there were also some treats available. The house, and certainly the kitchen, is equipped with every comfort. There was also a covered and enclosed area where we could store and charge our bikes. We sat outside on the banks of the Hollandse Ijssel, at the back of the house. The front is located on a busy provincial road, which is audible in the house and garden. The living room and kitchen (upstairs) are very spacious, downstairs, where the sleeping quarters are, it is just a little cramped for 3 adults. Also because the master bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom. In addition, there was no curtain/door at the bedstee to darken the daylight that comes through the skylight early in the morning. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay in this super luxurious AirBnB and we would highly recommend it, especially if you are only two!
