Cottage holiday rentals in Wiltshire

had such a lovely stay at the little cottage. great spot to just relax and be in a secluded little sun trap away from any hustle and bustle. hot tub was perfection, garden is just perfect to sit and read our books and have some drinks, kitchen was easy to use and got the job done for cooking, shower was nice and hot and good pressure (sounds silly but i think the shower is always worth a mention!) bed was so comfy, best we’ve slept in weeks! really appreciate the sky box being included, great value for money here. big thanks to Lorraine!

Jenna was so friendly and always on hand if needed. The annex was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and we took advantage of the hot tub which was so relaxing. I had some family visit and they thought it was beautiful and will stay when they come down to visit again. Had some lovely meals in the village pub

Our family of four had a lovely stay at North Cottage. It was like stepping back in time but with the luxury of modern amenities. So peaceful waking up surrounded by trees. We went on a few of the local walks in the woods/hills around the village. Was a great way to familiarize ourselves to the area. Not a big deal for myself being 5’ 5” but my 6’+ husband and teens definitely needed to duck going under doorways. They managed just fine, but just be aware. We would happily stay here again.

A beautiful place to stay, with beautiful surroundings. It was very clean & tidy & the rooms were huge! Lovely pool, hot tub & gardens & Samantha & Bruce were lovely hosts. Overall a very relaxing stay & we would love to come back!

Had a lovely time at Swallow Cottage. The place was exactly as described, clean, and well equipped with all essentials we needed. We loved the hamper with milk, bread, eggs and fruit, it felt very homely and welcoming. The location was private and perfect for a weekend away.. the hot tub was such a treat! Thank you Suzanne for a wholesome stay at the cottage!

Super stay at Dairy Cottage. Great location for exploring Bath and the surrounding area. Comfy living room, kids bedroom upstairs which they loved. Massive master bedroom and bed very comfy. Fire pit was fun to toast marshmallows on. Nice big table for meals and games

Claire was so easy to communicate with and went over and above in her welcome pack on arrival - it was a perfect place for my parents for their Grand-daughter’s wedding. Excellent clean property and secluded hot tub that was enjoyed multiply times! Beautiful secluded setting and very clean, comfortable and well stocked - thank you, we’ll come back and stay next time!

Fantastic base for exploring the prehistoric wonders of Wiltshire! The location was ideal for easy drives to sites like Stonehenge and Avebury. The accommodation itself was spotless, quiet, and clearly well looked after, everything you need for a relaxing stay. There’s a cracking little pub nearby serving amazing pizza (highly recommend), though the Guinness was £7 a pint… spoken like a true Yorkshireman! Bonus points for the handy Morrisons shop right next door, perfect for picking up supplies. All in all, a great stay 10/10 would highly recommend.

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

Lovely escape in a peaceful location. Was very quiet & relaxing. Lots of lovely dog walks. Easy to find. Lovely pub called The Lamb a ten min drive away.

Can’t say enough to do the stay justice, absolutely immaculate,very comfortable,very quiet , everything in the kitchen you need, the bed is so comfortable makes for a great night’s sleep, the outside space is very peaceful and relaxing, easy check in, lovely village 2 great pubs both very welcoming, both good food, lots to do in the area , Jo asked if we were ok but not intrusive always available if needed would highly recommend this cottage to anyone thinking of booking hopefully we will return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We were so close to all of the places we wanted to see - especially Lacock Abbey! - and the cottage was the perfect quiet place to retreat back to at the end of each day's activities. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, providing recommendations on places we might like to see along with some history about the surrounding countryside. We also loved doing some bird-watching from the big windows in the bedroom, and were highly entertained watching the chickens running around in the yard. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

This property was perfect for our stay in Wiltshire with our dog. The house was quiet, set back from a main road so our boy wasn’t so scared. The host was lovely, they had left us a wonderful little welcome basket and when we unexpectedly had an anniversary gift delivered from a family member they quickly let us know so we could collect. The house was just as the photos showed and beautifully presented with everything we could need. The local area was perfect for dog walks and we were able to explore so many local attractions. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Beautiful and stylish house, true to pictures, clean and cozy. We enjoyed the sauna. Also loved cooking meals in the kitchen. Responsive and helpful host. Do note it is not a detached house so we can see/ hear the neighbors and vice versa. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, thank you Lisa!

We had a great time at this place. It’s a spacious and very clean accommodation. We enjoyed the silence very much. Looking outside the kitchen window is like looking into a 3-D painting. It’s a beautiful place from where you can do many different walks. Magnus and Roz are very friendly and easygoing..The weather was great and they let us use their beautiful garden with swimming pool as well. When we arrived it was nice to find bread, milk, butter, jam etc in the kitchen. It’s been a wonderful fortnight over here!

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous Cotswolds village. It truly felt like a home from home, quiet, cosy and surprisingly spacious. The bath was absolutely immense and perfect for soaking the stress away. One of the unexpected highlights was the lovely cows in the field behind the house. I already miss sipping my morning cuppa with them as company. Joanne was incredibly accommodating, especially on such short notice with just seven hours to prepare. We really needed the break and are so grateful she made it possible.

We really enjoyed our stay at Julia’s cottage. It was cosy and very close to bath which is very useful. The tennis court was lovely and we enjoyed playing a few games on it, Julia is very friendly and easy to contact. We would recommend!

Our stay was great. Jade and Mark helped us resolve any issues we had and were very friendly. The place itself is well equipped and in a lovely countryside area with beautiful walks all around. It was also a good base for trips to Salisbury and surrounding areas, easy to access and far from any road noise etc.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in the Dairy. Excellent communication with Jess. A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings and garden. Everything you needed in the property. 5mins drive to the railway station in Chippenham. With quick links to Bath and Bristol. Also close to Lacock National Trust. A fantastic network of footpaths to explore straight from the door. Also an excellent pub in the village. Jess was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. Also we had a good welcome from her husband. Would recommend for a relaxing stay, with plenty of local attractions easy to visit. and look forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at the stables, perfect welcome pack, with homemade Vegan cake. Everything we needed for the stay, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed with luxury bedding. Owain and Jenny were perfect hosts, friendly & accommodating . Lots to do in the local area.

A beautiful and relaxing home in a stunning location. Host Linda was very responsive and helpful. Well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms and ample space for living and dining. One of the best places we have ever stayed at!
