Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Winchester

Lovely house right in the centre of town yet surprisingly peaceful. We came by train and it was a very easy walk from the station and straight forward to find and get in. Kitchen was very well equipped. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough to use the garden but great to have the outdoor space. Beds very comfortable. Considering coming back again later in the year.

Great location – we used it mainly as a base for visiting Paultons Park and it was perfect for that. The place was quiet, clean, and just what we needed. Jane was easy to get in touch with for any questions. We'd happily stay again.

A fabulous stay, cosy yet spacious; hosts were lovely, very accommodating, and welcoming. We will definitely stay again! Bliss!

We have had the most wonderful time, Sarah was a fantastic host and even left home made treats. She gave great restaurant suggestions, every one was delicious and left very clear information on local walks. The accommodation was even better than the photos. Finished to a really high standard with everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable. It’s is so tranquil and relaxing, we absolutely loved the view across the field of sheep. Honestly me and my husband had the best trip we will definitely be back again.

We stayed at No5 for a short break. Part of the trip was to visit the Christmas market and Cathedral. This property had the best location just a five minute walk from both. A charming, cosy mews house, a home from home with high end decor and spec. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Winchester.

Amazing home and good parking off road, very easy to find and getting into property. Wendy is super lovely and accommodating, thank you very much! The house is definitely one of a kind and very homely and lovely, would stay again!

Wow ! What a beautiful rural place ! So cosy , super clean, well designed , the interior is stunning and everything you need within the lodge ! Great location near bishops Waltham that has nice independent shops cafes and pubs and only 20 min drive to Winchester and paultons park! Lots to do in the area but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere so peaceful ! The lodge is very insulated so it did get hot over the nice weekend but Jackie was super quick to give us some fans for the room- she went above and beyond to make sure we was comfortable during our stay, would definitely recommend, thanks Jackie !

Exceeded expectations. I was expecting a small place but it was not! Very comfortable and some nice treats on arrival that were most appreicated. Its a quiet suburban area, a good base for exploring Arundel etc.

We had a lovely stay in Johan’s AirBnB. The space was beautifully kept with stunning views. There weren’t a huge deal of amenities close by but we didn’t mind going for a walk (even in the rain!). Would absolutely come back to explore the local walking routes. Thanks Johan!

My two dogs and I had a lovely stay. It was peaceful and a great place to stay after our long flight over from Canada.

The location is amazing, Winchester is amazing, and you have everything you need within 5 minute walking distance. Jo is an amazing host and I would recommend this apartment to anyone! Very sweet little cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you would need inside of it. Great location, with a nice pub down the road. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for all. The only downside is that it is situated on a busy road so at night you can sometimes hear the cars, but we didn’t mind.

A lovely spot and well located for exploring Winchester and the surrounds. The flat is very equipped, clean, light and smartly presented. It’s a perfect base for seeing the city centre - very easy to walk in. Host is very helpful and responsive on message. It was a good location to use as base for visiting Mottisfont Roses and Jane Austen’s House. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

Julie was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and helpful. The flat was lovely, it was in a great central location and was well equipped, homely and pristine. There were thoughtful touches such as the welcome hamper and a useful parking permit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return again.

River View was an amazing place to stay. It was private and peaceful with beautiful gardens at the back of the property. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy this as it was raining. The property matched the description on the website and was very comfortable and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone needing to stay near Salisbury and would love to return again.

Rose's place is beautifully clean and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. We loved relaxing in the beautiful garden and very much appreciated the thoughtful note that had been left, along with the generous provision of breakfast and hot drink items. We had two great meals out, one at The Ship and one at The George. It was so easy to get into the forest for walks. A great stay and we would thoroughly recommend!
