The Wadden Sea and the North Sea are only 5 km away. Upon arrival, the beds are already made, 1x towels/linens per person are included. Your favorite pet (for a fee of €5 per day) is welcome here. Our eco-wooden house is located in the small town of Süderhastedt between the Kiel Canal and the North Sea. We ourselves live in Hamburg and have discovered this region away from the tourist hustle and bustle as an oasis of peace and a counterpoint to the big city. In the morning the rooster crows, in the evening the flames crackle in the fireplace and at night a heavenly peace under a clear starry sky. After the unfortunate fire of our cozy thatched cottage, we now have a light-flooded wooden house.

The Reetdachhaus Bischoff is an exclusive country house dating back to 1620—one of the oldest homes in the region—located by the North Sea, where tradition, comfort, and culinary enjoyment come together. This lovingly maintained property is yours alone to enjoy on a spacious 3,000 m² estate. Families with children will appreciate the large private garden—there’s plenty of space to play, explore, and relax. Umliegende Ziele: Meldorf, Heide, Büsum, Husum, St.Peter Ording, Friedrichskoog, Westerhever, Sylt und Helgoland.

In the district town of Heide, 20 km from the North Sea, we offer part of our house as a complete, completely separate residential unit of approx. 120 m2 for max. 4 people. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street, about 15 minutes walk to the Heide center/market square and is very convenient as a starting point for walks in the moor, forest and for bike tours. Bikes can be stored and the car can be parked right outside the front door.
