Hayloft at The Stables

A 2 bedroom first floor flat with kitchen, cosy living area, and bathroom, above our home on the ground floor. You share our front door, but access the flat through a door to the stairs immediately on entering the hall. Sleeps 4. Bedrooms are in the eaves, so have restricted head room in places. Excellent broadband. It was the hayloft above an old carriage house. A peaceful setting in pretty village, with a pub, a short drive to Diss. We live on the ground floor. Large garden, good parking.

For over a hundred years, this characterful old dairy was where the cows were milked at Hawthorn Farm. Sympathetically and luxuriously converted into a two-bedroom cottage in 2017, it is self-contained and completely detached. Inside, original walls, beams and vaulted ceilings give it a spacious, airy feel. It has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a large shower, WC and basin. The spacious 18 x 14 foot carpeted living space has two huge comfy sofas and a table and chairs.

A quiet, spacious self-contained annex, well suited for local sightseeing, work or relaxing. It connects to our family home, but has a private entrance (wheelchair friendly) and ample off street parking. There is one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. It has wi-fi, a smart tv with Sky & regular channels. You may see our 2 friendly dogs & cats, but they won’t come into your space. It looks out over a paved patio, but this area is for our personal use, as it’s our dogs’ playground.
