Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. What a wonderful stay! I think there are several factors that have me feeling rejuvenated. All of the natural building elements, wood, hand made tiles, clay, and earthen floor, ( with such intentional design and colors), create both a very calming and cozy environment. Large windows bring in lots of light. The place is kept very clean. The bath tub is luxuriously large. And the quiet of the house in this rural setting did wonders for my sleep. Peggy was very responsive and a great host! Staying at the Fabulous Farmhouse Suite was such an easy way to detox from the city, feel refreshed and inspired. You won’t find another spot like this !

This is easily one of my top 5 Airbnb stays! The view is absolutely stunning, and I’d love to come back for an even longer visit. Just a heads-up—make sure to bring some food with you or stop at the grocery store in Nelson before heading up. An all-wheel drive vehicle is definitely a plus for getting there comfortably. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.
