It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. This is a beautiful cottage within the heart of Lancashire farming community. Surrounded by rural views. With two private gardens at your disposal and private secure off road parking. On a country lane, that provides quick access to Blackpool with its night life, attractions and illuminations in September, and only 50 mins to the Lake District. If you want the sea, its not far at all, with large beaches at Blackpool and the lovely upgraded front at Cleveleys is only a short drive away.

A Memorable Stay at The Hamilton The Hamilton was such a wonderful place to stay — it truly felt like an experience. I booked it for my mum’s birthday, and without much effort, she looked absolutely glamorous in every photo thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I rated the location 4 stars only because none of us were driving, so we had to rely on taxis, which added up quickly. That said, the bus stops right outside The Hamilton was extremely convenient, making it easy to get around at a much more reasonable cost. We all agreed we would definitely book this place again. Until then, thank you, John!

The pod is absolutely beautiful inside and out. In a really peaceful place perfect to sit outside and enjoy the night. Warm and cosy inside, it’s like a home away from home. Couldn’t fault the place at all, we celebrated an anniversary here and it was perfect for the occasion. Hot tub was lovely and warm by the time we arrived. Would 100% recommend this place, and would absolutely visit again !!

Lovely spacious cottage with excellent surrounding views. Cottage was more spacious than pictures show on Airbnb site. Very dog friendly. Happy with accommodation. Only negatives I would mention would be the dust on the bathroom extractor fan which is easily remedied. The windows were needing cleaned inside and out which would have enhanced the lovely views and sunset and new bedding is needed due to old stains on mattress and pillows. Otherwise would definitely recimmend

Great acomodation. clean,tidy, good bed & everything you need supplied. Had a great stay with lots to see and do. Garstang is right on the doorstep. Lovely town with plenty of places to eat and drink. Had a really enjoyable time and would highly recommend this place.

The cottage was so cozy and comfortable. Instructions to find it and enter were a breeze. Laura & Dean were responsive and helpfully addressed all my questions. They were accommodating as my check-in time shifted back and forth. The neighborhood was quiet. They even left a package of chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen upon arrival. I would happily book here again.
