The little Barn Little London

DelphineRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Lovely stay in Ian and Sandra's cottage. They both are welcoming you in a very nice manner. The cottage has a good size in the rear garden with a private little terrace. Kitchen and bathroom are very small but with the basic necessary equipment. The location in the beautiful Surrey's nature was perfect, lots of walks to be done around, 15 mn from Shere, a typical and amazing village, and 1mn from William IV, the local pub. You can even take a swim in the Tillingbourne river. I would highly recommend especially if you like dogs.

Barn conversion in the Surrey Hills

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay in the barn — the surroundings were gorgeous, and the barn itself was beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless! Ingela and Nick were amazing, friendly hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. They provided plenty of great recommendations, and as we were attending a wedding nearby, they even helped us arrange an amazing dog-sitter! The space and surroundings where extremely relaxing... it's a pity we only stayed for 3 nights. We will definitely look at booking again if we are in the area.

Hunters Lodge

SuzanneRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We loved our stay, really peaceful and beautiful. If you are very tall, the shower might be a bit short for you, I'm 1.71cm and my head almost touched the roof. However the shower is over a bath so you could work around this. Overall, a lovely property.

Idyllic Retreat

StefanieRating, 5 stars11 months ago
I have booked this little lodge for a few days to be able to unwind, relax and allow head space in a peaceful environment. The place is cosy, quiet and clean, the bed very comfortable. the towels plush, excellent WIFI and there was tea and coffee facility. There are many trails from doorstep in the forest, some more challenging than others but with spectacular views as a reward so to bring suitable footwear is a must to enjoy. Peaslake, Ewhurst and Holmbury Hill within sporty walking distance, do not miss the cemetary in the forest approaching Peaslake. I have to say that Barbara warm welcome and care in a much needed time was what made this stay special. The views from her garden are hypnotizing and Barbara breakfasts are so delicious, with true care for fresh ingredients and presentation. She even put lovely music like Andrea Bocelli, allowing calm and peace. It felt very warming and intentional, a rarity in modern days and I will definitely come back. Thank you!

Vaughans - Self contained apartment - centre Shere

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
If you are looking to experience Shere, Laurence's home is smack dab in the middle of it, giving you the best access to shops, restaurants and local sightseeing. Laurence was kind enough to let me store my luggage with him ahead of check-in (as I arrived in town quite early in the day) and maintained communication throughout my entire stay to ensure I had everything I needed. The apartment itself is cozy, clean and comes with all the home comforts you could want. I only hope to visit again for a longer stay! If you are traveling in using public transportation, there is a bus stop about a 5-minute walk from this home and Gomshall train station is a 25-minute walk (with a local bus that runs once an hour, I think). If you visit, please give yourself time to stroll on any of the numerous trails through the countryside. Shere is absolutely gorgeous!

Little Meadow, Annex

RichardRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Ann and Phil are charming hosts. The property was newly painted and spotlessly clean. In a secluded location but within easy reach of the many sites to visit in the Surrey Hills and attractions further afield. On this occasion we particularly enjoyed our visits to Painshill and the Watts Gallery Artists’ Village including the wonderful Watts Cemetery Chapel with its terracotta external decoration and its art nouveaux interior. Farleys House and Gallery was another great visual experience - the home of photographer Lee Miller and surrealist artist Roland Penrose. The Brooklands Museum is also worth visiting. Little Meadow Annex is surrounded by a network of public paths for walking and little but often steep roads for cycling. It has all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay in the Surrey Hills

Private apartment in a traditional country house

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jenny’s place is one of our absolute favourites - we keep coming back! The flat is cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with delicious treats for breakfast. We especially love the beautiful and serene surroundings, the access to the well groomed tennis court, and the easy access to the charming town down the road. Jenny is a fantastic host - warm, friendly, and always communicative. We can’t say enough great things and are already looking forward to our next stay!
