Being on the edge of the Peak District, it is an ideal base for exploring this part of England, with great walks from the doorstep . Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and many other attractions are just a short drive away.

Wirksworth is a small market town on the edge of The Derbyshire Peak District, an ideal location for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. The cottage, originally a quarryman's dwelling, has been fully refurbished and is maintained to a high standard. The accommodation: double and single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and TV lounge. Outside is a decked sitting area. Parking is in the courtyard of Babington House next door.

On a quiet side street but close to nearby independent shops, pubs, cinema and restaurants of Wirksworth.
