House holiday rentals in Wood County

The house was perfect for what we needed. Literally anything you could possibly need, was available for your use. Communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again, if available, as our daughter lives in Holly Lake & we visit frequently.

Extremely clean and nicely decorated. The home had everything you need and Teresa was very responsive to any messages I sent. She let us check in early and check out a few hours late to accommodate our tournament schedule.

The BASShole was absolutely amazing and Beautiful. We were so in love with this place that we booked it again for July 4th! The house was so cute and clean, the decor was amazing with the Bass everywhere! The View is GORGEOUS and April was an amazing host, responsive, informative and very friendly and professional!! If you are looking for a spot to fish, cookout, be with nature this is the place!

What a great place! we thoroughly enjoyed the location and the home itself. the only thing we were bummed about is most of the amenities were closed down. But, the pool was great on the West Side. We spent our time fishing, swimming, and walking the nature trails.

Lisa was very responsive when needed. The house is very clean and cozy. There are multiple boat ramps within a few miles. I’m not 100% positive there was not power at the dock but I couldn’t find a place to plug in the boat after daily use. But no harm… we enjoyed our stay very much!

We came here for a couple nights while on a family trip. Overall, we definitely enjoyed ourselves. If you want to see the lake you have to walk or drive at least a quarter mile which isn’t bad. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the house could stand a good cleaning. It wasn’t very clean but we still had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves. The yard wasnt kept up but someone came and mowed it while we were gone one day. Overall, a really cute little place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The main attraction was Lake Fork. We both enjoy fishing and the lake was only minutes away from this very nice Airbnb. It was very clean, and roomy, and the huge pond in the backyard was a complete bonus. There is a very large back porch, that has a small deck with a sitting area off the porch that has a wooden pathway that leads straight down to the pond, very nice. We will definitely stay here everytime we come to lake fork.

The best Airbnb I have stayed in. So many amenities like records and a record player. It is super relaxing listing to the night critters next to a camp fire. I booked this trip to get away from downtown Dallas, it gave me everything I need. They own an antique store in Winnsboro where all guests get a discount. Such great living out here, will 100% be back. THANK YOU!

Incredible property and close to Quitman for restaurants. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Upon arrival we were met with a cute welcoming cabin next to a beautiful serene lake. A storm must’ve passed through prior to our visit that caused some issues with the available amenities and services provided, however Nikki was super responsive and very proactive on trying to resolve any issues that I had. This Airbnb was great for our short visit to attend my sister-in-law’s wedding that was in town (surely was much more accommodating and comfortable than a hotel for sure!) It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t stay longer, but I would definitely stay here again to visit my family!

My husband & I brought both our families out here for our wedding weekend. It was amazing. With two houses, it was perfect for both families to have plenty of space . There was pool, pickleball, volleyball and badminton. We always had lots to do. We enjoyed being so close to the water. It was a wonderful weekend and I hope to bring our families back out here one day.😊

I really recommend this place if you want a have a good time with you family and specially the kids enjoy been outside with the horses and playing . Beautiful home , honestly I take couple pics of the rustic interior design because I will build something similar for me .

Sam’s lake house was exactly what we needed, a place to stay during a fishing tournament for the guys, and a home base for the girls between visiting and shopping. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. The kitchen was nicely appointed for cooking big meals. Sam was friendly, and very responsive to messages. We will definitely check to see if Sam’s lake house is available when we come back to this area!

We had a great stay!! The inside was clean and well kept. Having nice towels and throw blankets was also a plus. Our stay was quiet. Also, Brittany was very proactive and responsive with communication.

Probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in—really well appointed and beautiful aesthetic, peaceful getaway. Was perfect for our family of six little children. Layout of home is smart as well, all very new and optimally functional. Host was responsive to questions/issues, effortless check-in/out.

I would highly recommend this home for families looking for a place to stay in East Texas. The backyard playground and indoor theatre were a huge hit for my children. We enjoyed our stay!
