Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Woodstock

We stayed at the beautiful location which is on the outskirts of the city. It felt like home immediately and we were not disappointed for almost the four months we stayed. The location was perfect—close to grocery, restaurants, and all the local attractions, which made getting around super convenient. Uber is always only 2-4 minutes away and the cost is reasonable. It’s a 15-20 minute ride to city center which has unending attractions and activities. Around the Observatiory area itself, many coffee shops, bars, restaurants, eccletic stores which are walkable. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to comfortable linens—making it feel like a true home away from home. What really stood out was the host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Any questions or requests were handled quickly and thoughtfully, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this beautiful home!!

This is our second stay with Derek. Once again, another amazing stay in their beautiful home. Pretty, was just the best and made us feel at home and so welcome. Derek was super responsive and accommodating. This is very quickly becoming our go-to AirBnB in Cape Town, with an annual family pilgrimage thrown in for good measure. Looking forward to our next stay!

Of all the places I have stayed, and there are many, this place was by far the most spectacular. It is literally a jewel in Cape Town, well worth the price. The hosts are responsive, friendly and considerate. The two story home is absolutely unbelievable and palatial. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough. The community is safe and secure, and the locals are very friendly. Don't hesitate to book this place. It's absolutely stunning.

I would like to thank Monique for the most fabulous stay we have ever had on air bnb. Monique immediately reached out to us as soon as our booking was confirmed, with information which was very helpful about checking in and surrounding area. The whole beautiful cottage was pristine! It felt like we were home. Nothing was missing! Her attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. All cleaning detergents, laundry detergents, bath soaps were provided. The kitchen was stocked with salt and pepper, olive oil, grape seed oil, coffee pods, tea, sugars etc. we found all this very helpful and did not have to stock up on such items. The outdoor areas were clean and beautifully set out with incredible security. The decor inside and outside the cottage had such a comfortable & homey feel to it. Easy walk to Gardens shopping Center and surrounding restaurants! We will definitely be staying with Monique again on our next visit to Cape Town. Thank you Monique for making our stay Perfect.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The location couldn’t have been better—conveniently close to all the main attractions, yet set high enough to offer total peace and quiet after a day of exploring. The views of the sea and mountains were truly breathtaking, adding something special to both mornings and evenings. The photos online don’t fully capture the beauty of the view or the seamless flow of the living area out to the patio—it was even better in person. The home was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and tastefully decorated, and offered many comforts and conveniences. The host was very accommodating and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. Communication was easy, and they were always willing to support in making the stay as comfortable as possible. It was a peaceful, refreshing experience from start to finish, and I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Such a stunning property, exactly as pictured. Ian was such a warm and welcoming host. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for a very comfortable stay. The wood burning stove kept the main area warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, we hope to visit again.

This was our first trip to Cape Town but did have feedback from my daughter who is studying there. The Gardens neighborhood worked well because of its central location. Unfortunately the city is car dependent so plan on lots of Ubering - always a car within 2 minutes - even vans! The mall down the street was a blessing - pharmacy, 2 grocery stores and a bunch of other stuff. The home was so perfect for a group of 7 - probably the best was the large open living space that gave way to a work space at the dining room table, cooking space galore in the kitchen, comfy couches to watch the French Open from and then a napping window that is super cozy. There is a great outdoor table and rooftop deck but due to timing and some weather did not spend a lot of time there - but the invitation of both spaces quite charming. Would stay there without hesitation next trip if over 4 travelers!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Great experience. Good support from hosts. Clean and well-equipped. A bit off the beaten track, so a car is needed, but in a tranquil and safe part of Durbanville. Can recommend.

What a beautiful home away from home! I absolutely loved everything in Justine & Terence’s place, so tastefully designed. It is extremely spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The personal guide is detailed and has great tips for exploring the area. It’s not often you find such a calming oasis within walking distance to great restaurants, shops and the company gardens or parks. Justine is a fantastic host, very quick to communicate and provide all the info I needed for a seamless self check-in. I highly recommend a stay here!

We stayed for a week in Nat’s Seapoint apartment and loved our stay. Nat was very communicative which made everything very easy and the apartment is a delight. We loved the location and enjoyed walking both to the V&A Waterfront and the other direction to Camps Bay from Seapoint - glorious sea walks in both directions. The flat had everything we needed and was so close to restaurants and local shops - would definitely stay again if back in Cape Town!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, spacious home with incredible views over Cape Town. The master bedroom is exceptional! The one downside was the wifi was very stop starty and for majority of our stay it didn’t work. We only had one day where we really needed it though and the hosts were responsive when trying to trouble shoot this. Would recommend!

Fantastic place, a stones throw from the beach, short walk to the restaurants and amazing sunset views. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and tidied/cleaned daily. Mary Louise and Sean are fantastic hosts - very responsive and were kind enough to let us check in early.

Susan’s place is even better than imagined. It has a unique view of Clifton’s bay, very safe and private with 24/7 security. The decor is very charming and you feel right at home. Everything was clean, smelled great, bed and linen were comfortable. The kitchen has a lot of amenities and perfect to cook. Susan’s daughter Inge is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and will likely be coming again. Thank you for hosting us.

Johannes is a wonderful host, he greeted us and walked through the apartment with us. He made us feel at home. The apartment is stunning with a beautiful view that you don’t want to leave. We look forward to staying again.

The house is located on a quiet and peaceful street in Green Point and it is close to all the main attractions in Cape Town. It is very cozy, clean and there are all the essential appliances for a medium/long stay. We had a pleasant time !!! Only advice: don't leave food crumbs around because tiny ants might appear in the house however there is spray and they go away immediately

We loved staying at this place. Lots of space, the darts and pool table were great extras. Communication was wonderful, quick to respond or give lots of activity ideas.

Wonderful place. Beautiful house, nice interior with a perfect location directly at the beach. We will definitely come back to this place in case we are back in Cape Town.

Allen's home on Clifton beach was perfect for our family of 7. Unbelievable views of the beach with amazing windows to view from most every room. I could have stayed there a year. Amos, the in-house keeper, was amazing at the household duties and we enjoyed seeing him around the property. We will be back and we will recommend this amazing place.

Camp’s Bay getaway like no other! Great team running the show, super responsive and great communication. The place is out of a dream. Phenomenal location and feng shui. Highly recommend for a medium size group or family to feel safe at night. Recommend going in the South African summer for all the Americans though.

This villa made our trip more enjoyable, everything was wonderful, the owner Mr wim was very helpful and also the maid Ms Julie was wonderful in everything. I highly recommend this villa for anyone. I can’t wait to stay there again.

This gets my highest recommendation, and no I’m not connected to the owner in any way. The entire experience beat all expectations. Owners very kind and helpful. The ViEW is incredible. So comfortable for my wife and 4 adult children.

We’ve just spent 4 weeks (4 adults 1 child and a baby) at the villa and it was the most amazing stay! The villa is in a perfect location and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Matthew the house manager was just the best! So helpful and kept the villa spotless throughout our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Stewart was an amazing and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay, the location was amazing as well! We were close to the town and all of the establishments. Will definitely consider Stewart’s place anytime I’m in town. Great host :)
