A quiet, private space in the heart of a Dorset village, close to the Jurassic Coast. The recently-built Sika Lodge is set within the garden of a larger late Georgian property. It has a private entrance and accommodation on two floors. Durdle Door, Lulworth, Corfe Castle, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Dorchester are all a short drive away, and are perfect for walking, fossil-hunting, shopping and eating out. Less than 5 minutes walk to mainline train station and bus routes.

Gorgeous shepherd's hut in Dorset's water meadows

This is a gorgeous new shepherds hut adjoining a listed thatched cottage with a stream running through the garden and alongside the hut. The hut is quiet and peaceful being at the end of a small lane petering out into protected water meadows. The only noise to disturb you is bird song. Look out of your window and you see coots and ducks in the stream. Step straight into the water meadows and see herons and kingfishers. In a word, idyllic.
