Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. Dit schattige witte huisje met een rieten dak is als uit een sprookjesboek! Alsof je even echt woont in authentiek Giethoorn. (Noord) De bootjes zijn te huur bij de buren en de prachtige bruggetjes zijn te vinden op maar 6 minuten lopen. Hier is Giethoorn ontstaan en staan de oudste huisjes aan het pad. Zonder hordes toeristen. (Die zitten in Giethoorn Zuid) Hier heerst nog heerlijke rust en de schoonheid van het oude dorp Giethoorn. Helaas niet geschikt voor baby's/kinderen van 0 tot 8.

You are welcome to stay on our organic snowdrop farm all year round. From December through April you will be able to enjoy thousands of snowdrops, stinsenplants, and a free tour around the nursery. We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. The farm is a beautiful and quiet spot, in the middle of the Noord-Holland countryside of the Wieringermeer polder. Our own small green piece of paradise. We hope to see you soon!

Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Villa Scorpio: holiday home near forest and lake!

Villa Scorpio is a 6-12-person holiday home at Villapark Mooi Gaasterland, suitable for small groups and families. The warm villa has a large kitchen, fully equipped, a spacious living room with large sitting and dining area to eat and an extra reading and playroom. In total there are 8 bedrooms (4 2-person and 4 1-person) all with their own bathroom. Bed linen and towels for all guests provided!!
