The place fully complied with the description. The host responded promptly to any question. We had spent 3 nice days there and felt very comfortable in the house. We fully recommend the space and the host.

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

The location is in front of harbor and very close to the historic center of Monnickendam. Bus access was very good for nearby towns and villages, including Marken, Volendam, Edam and Broek in Waterland. I was happy to see the sunrise across the harbor and yachts from the window of this attic apartment. I also really liked the check-in time was early from 13:00. This made me to leave my bags in the apartment early and explore Monnickendam well in the afternoon. It is very good for especially a short term stay in this well organized clean apartment. Joke and Peter were both friendly hosts.

Everything you needed was available in the apartment and it was clean. Location is quiet. A supermarket and various restaurants could be reached quickly with the bicycles provided free of charge. Gert-Jan gave helpful ideas and suggestions for leisure activities and was always available for questions. We enjoyed the stay very much! :-)

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy house! The location is perfect — it’s very easy to reach all main attractions by bus, with stops close by. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and a lovely atmosphere!

We were a group of girls at Leon's house. It was really super nice, everything you need and much more! And I liked it a lot. The house was clean and it is really fast to go to Amsterdam by public transport or car. We will be back!

Dear Noortje and family ...also when we didn't meet in person - it was wonderful to be able to stay at Rina's house - just perfect! We would have liked to stay two more nights - there would still be a lot to discover in Amsterdam... and the small cozy house is so relaxing after the many people and the hustle and bustle in the city. The neighborhood is beautiful, the house is beautiful, clean, and very well equipped and decorated. The area is lovely to walk around and a short distance to the east there are a lot of restaurants, bars and bakeries and to the south one big mall with supermarket and shops. My only complaint is the staircase is too narrow, which makes it uncomfortable to go up and down with suitcases. But I recognize this is a Dutch thing and the majority of houses, new and old, have the same issue.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!
