absolutely fantastic I couldn't recommend it enough, my second time staying and certainly not the last I love the area it's in and the town center is a few minutes walk away! amazing place friendly owners and they respond fast if you ever need anything! immaculate to the very last corner an amazing stay would recommend to anyone visiting barnsley 10/10 amazing price especially for what you get I absolutely love it!

We had a wonderful time at John’s. We were met by Jeff who was extremely friendly and had a great sense of humour. It felt like home away from home. We made use of the snacks that had been left. Thanks for everything.

The garden loft was a perfect place to stay. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The area is beautiful with lots of walks on your doorstep and a short drive to Barnsley centre. Emma was the perfect host, always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We had a lovely stay in Silkstone. Cosy Cottage was ideal for our visit to Cannon Hall Farm. The restaurant (The Bells) just a 50 yard walk away was good value for money. There is lots to do in the area and Cosy Cottage is a great base. The cottage was very comfortable. An excellent kitchen and a good bathroom. Comfortable beds and nice and warm. Thanks to Neal and Deborah for responding g to questions promptly.
