This is a private rental accommodation on a hill overlooking the horizon of Shima-yakushima, a World Natural Heritage site. Enjoy a relaxing time with family and friends in a spacious 77-square-meter old house. There are few houses around, and it is a quiet place surrounded by trees and a small stream. You can see the sea to the east, so you can sometimes see the moonrise. The starry sky is also very beautiful. Anbo town is a 10-minute drive, convenient for shopping and eating. The popular Jomon Sugi mountain climbing bus stop is a 15-minute drive away. If you're having trouble finding a rental car, you can car share the owner's car (using the Carstay app). It is a light vehicle with a capacity of 4 people and it is a cargo car, so the ride comfort is not the best, but it is a 4WD with plenty of luggage space. South Coast House is a traditional Japanese style home located on the very south coast of the island. It is very private, surrounded by nature with great sea and mountain views. Two natural outdoor hot spring Onsens - Harauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes drive away. There is also some hiking, swimming and snorkelling spots close by. It has great sea and mountain views and is surrounded by nature. Two famous open air onsens - Hirauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes walk away. Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki
Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home
We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

This location is very quiet & secret place for vacation home. There is a small Tatami room like a tea celemony room that you can use as yoga, meditation etc. for your private time. However, no kitchen facility. We provide an electric pot,cups,small dishies, refrigerater, microwave and oven grills toaster, so you can bring some food etc. There is sea and forest view from the guest cottage. Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.
