You can only enjoy this experience of being in the forest while listening to the babbling of the river here. Let the greenery soothe you during the day, and at night, relax your mind and body under a sky full of stars. It's right next to the river, so you can swim or go to the river from the open-air bath.There is also a deck, which you can use for breakfast and coffee time. The neighbor's garden is diagonally across the river, so it is not a completely private space.We recommend bringing a swimsuit. The sauna stove is a Japanese-made brothe sauna.You can enjoy a high-temperature sauna. Yakushima's more than 20 years old Shiki Inn opened a new bungalow in 2023.There is a kitchen and a private bath and toilet, so it is great for long stays.There is a washer and dryer in the public room. Hirauchi Hot Spot 2 bedroom Japanese style house

Hirauchi Hot Spot is a traditional Japanese style house located in the south of the island. It is easy to find on the main road next to a bus stop. It has great sea and mountain views and is surrounded by nature. Two famous open air onsens - Hirauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes walk away. We have another beautiful self contained house nearby which caters for up to 6 people. Have a look “South Coast House “ 屋久島の南部にある人気の観光スポット「平内海中温泉」が近い日本家屋です。It is within walking distance along with Yubo Onsen. I recommend renting a car as I am far from the popular hiking trails.

South Coast House is a traditional Japanese style home located on the very south coast of the island. It is very private, surrounded by nature with great sea and mountain views. Two natural outdoor hot spring Onsens - Harauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes drive away. There is also some hiking, swimming and snorkelling spots close by. We are also walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, a 10-minute drive to the famous Hirauchi Kaichu onsen, and a 20-minute walk to Onoiada onsen. Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.
