You can spend a special time surrounded by the forest and the starry sky, with a small river flowing right in front of you. The biggest attractions are the open-air bath and sauna. You can only enjoy this experience of being in the forest while listening to the babbling of the river here. Let the greenery soothe you during the day, and at night, relax your mind and body under a sky full of stars. It's right next to the river, so you can swim or go to the river from the open-air bath.There is also a deck, which you can use for breakfast and coffee time. The neighbor's garden is diagonally across the river, so it is not a completely private space.We recommend bringing a swimsuit. The sauna stove is a Japanese-made brothe sauna.You can enjoy a high-temperature sauna. The accommodation fee includes all of the following. ・ Open-air bath and sauna (Please use by 10 pm) ・ Sauna poncho & sauna hat ・ Towels (additional towels are available) We will prepare futons for the third and subsequent guests.Infants stay free of charge, but if you would like to rent a futon, we can provide one for 1,000 yen per day.

Conveniently located in the Aboko area with convenient access to the Jomon Cedar trailhead, and it is the second town of Yakushima next to Miyanoura, so it is also convenient to have access to restaurants! It is also close to the airport, and it is easy to plan for access to each tourist destination. Bus stops are close, and it's convenient to get around by bus. The starry sky from the wooden deck is amazing. ＜ About the facility ＞ There are fully equipped kitchens, dining and living rooms, including dishes, microwave, toaster, and rice cooker. There are two bedrooms (two beds each) and two lodge-style bedrooms, two sets of futons each. In addition to the bathroom with a bathtub, there are two shower rooms. There are 3 washrooms and 2 toilets. On rainy days, there is also plenty of space to enjoy darts, putters, and more. It is convenient for consecutive nights, and it is fully equipped with washing machine and dryer, such as a washing machine, dryer, and other necessary appliances. The town of Awa, which is convenient for shopping and dining, is a 10-minute drive away.It is a 15-minute drive to the bus stop for the hike to the popular Jomon cedar. This is a private-style guest house that has just been renovated in a modern style and opened in February 2024. It is close to popular hot springs such as JR Hotel, Onoma Onsen, and Kaichu Onsen, and it is also very convenient for shopping because it is about a 10-minute drive to one of the few large supermarkets in Yakushima. The guest house is equipped with 4 semi-double size beds, a dining table for 6 people, a washer and dryer, the latest appliances, kitchen utensils, and a BBQ set, so up to 6 people can stay comfortably. There is a large terrace on the first floor where you can have a BBQ, and a terrace on the second floor with a panoramic view of the ocean. There are very few houses around the house, so it is a great place to relax quietly.

Hirauchi Hot Spot is a traditional Japanese style house located in the south of the island. It is easy to find on the main road next to a bus stop. It has great sea and mountain views and is surrounded by nature. Two famous open air onsens - Hirauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes walk away. We have another beautiful self contained house nearby which caters for up to 6 people. Have a look “South Coast House “ 屋久島の南部にある人気の観光スポット「平内海中温泉」が近い日本家屋です。It is within walking distance along with Yubo Onsen. I recommend renting a car as I am far from the popular hiking trails.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.

Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.
