The house is beautiful and clean the host is friendly and responsive is very good, the area is quiet and the house overlooking the Marmara Sea everything was good

The reception from the Keenan family is beautiful and wonderful. They were waiting for us and offered us hospitality, water, juice, and some sweets. The villa was perfectly divided and in a quiet residential complex, and when we left, the family was there at the appointed time. Thank you to the Kenan family.

Very nice house in the middle of the turkish culture. We enjoyed our stay. The host is speaking English and was providing all necessary information. There is all necessary for the kitchen, washing and everything! The terrace is amazing. The people around are very friendly and helpful. Our kids was playing with the neighbors kids and it was amazing for all of them. The trucks with fruits and vegetables, corn, some pastries are passing almost every day and you can find all you need in the nearby stores. There are also supermarkets in 5-10 min by car. We enjoyed the sea and the mountains. This was a really emersion in the turkish culture. Thank you a lot for this holidays 🙏

We had a very pleasant stay. We had a peaceful and quiet and beautiful day where we enjoyed the house without getting tired in the crowds of the island. We were always able to reach Ms. Yüce quickly before and after the stay. The house had most things that could be needed during the stay. We only thought there should have been supplies such as kitchen cloth, spare garbage bag, roll towels that were needed during the use of the kitchen, but we were still happy and satisfied. Fantastic Historic Location with a Warm & Helpful Host. Murat was an exceptional host—he kindly waited over an hour for our delayed arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. His responsiveness and hospitality made our stay seamless! The house itself is charming and cozy, spread across four levels. The location is unbeatable —just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and lively restaurants with nightly live music (expect some crowd noise, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere!). A few drawbacks: - Water pressure was inconsistent (sometimes stopping mid-shower). - Kitchen sink odor (there was a persistent odor from the sink, possibly due to plumbing issues) Despite these small issues, we highly recommend* this place for its prime location, unique layout, and Murat’s outstanding hospitality. Perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of Fatih’s historic district! Thank you, Murat, for making our Istanbul trip so memorable!

Lovely comfortable house for our family of 4. Great views and well equipped. In order to get to Üsküdar town and the Fatih easily you need to take a bus which was not ideal but cengelkoy itself is a nice village with some good restaurants and a great historic tea house. Thank you for a lovely stay!

it was not just a stay, it was officially a great experience, and the house smelled like cleanliness when we arrived, and there was nothing to say in terms of location, and you can see it from the top floor at the bottom of the throat. It was also good for us on this hot day with all the rooms air conditioned no matter how hot. They were also flexible with most things, thank you very much for their hospitality, IN SHORT

Wow! This home was so much more beautiful than we expected and the pictures show. The view was incredible. Great indoor and outdoor space and wonderful pool. Cemil and his family were perfect hosts, really friendly and made us feel right at home. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Duygu was a brilliant host. She was friendly and quick to respond every time I messaged. It was very nice of her to personally welcome us when we arrived at her place and give us a tour of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery and equipment. The entire piece was well furnished and the rooms were exactly as in the photos. Linen was clean. There was a nice spot in the backyard for our group to hang out as well as a living room. There was running hot water. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim square and Nisantasi were about a twenty minute walk. There are many restaurants and groceries are available nearby. All in all, our stay at Duygu's place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this house to big groups.

Turgay and Ferhat were always responsive to our questions, very kind and helpful. The place is nice and quiet, the pool has been a great part of our stay. I’m a yacht captain with 6 other crew members. This place was exactly what we needed to do our jobs here in Istanbul. I would recommend this place 100%

The Galley Hotel was extremely accommodating to us for our 14+ person family reunion in Istanbul! This trip's purpose was for our family from Ukraine, Georgia, and America to all meet in one place for the first time in years, and we are so glad we chose The Galley Hotel for our extended stay. It was a perfect location both for accessing the city, having a spot to rest and recharge, and hosting family breakfasts and dinners. The hotel's resources were also very reliable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts we ordered were the perfect way to start our days, and the kitchen was such a vital part of our stay, providing for a place to gather, eat, and play games as a family. The front desk and cleaning staff were absolutely the highlight of our stay. Not only are they available 24 hours a day, but they were extremely communicative with us, just a phone call or text message away if we needed any help or wanted to book any experiences in Istanbul. Istanbul is so amazing! thanks to this appartment that is located in the best place for discovering easily all the great areas near galata. the guest was very helpful , providing all needed informations for a great trip. The place is exactly as described. Very cozy atmosphere. No need to take any taxis as everything is reachable via public transport. I really recommend this one and will probably come back as it was to short!

Perfect place for families with kids. Especially the fact that there is lighting in the garden, the sandbox for children and various toys made for children to have a pleasant time. The location of the house is very nice, almost by the sea. The house was quite clean, tidy and had sufficient amenities. I would also like to thank Ms. Hanife. She was very helpful and caring both before and after.

place is lovely and spacious, was perfect for our little family reunion . Location is great right next to the sea, lots of space for everyone, weather wasn’t good enough for the pool or swimming in the sea but we had great time by the open fire and in the little summer house in the garden. Had everything we need in the kitchen ,only thing is home decor wasn’t our taste but that is really very personal. Garden is the die for, well recommend it x

We liked it very much as a place, because of the garden, it was very good for the house due to the fact that the house is wooden, but you do not spend time in the house, it makes a little noise when you walk, but you are just going to sleep, so it is not very disturbing, thanks to the host, it was very kind and caring, thank you very much, we stayed very satisfied.

We spent a very pleasant time here and left great memories. The landlord is super good and has been helping us all along
