Cottage holiday rentals in Yates County

This is the kind of place you almost don't leave a review for because you don't want anyone else to stay there and take your space. It was peaceful. The stream sounds are awesome. It feels so homey and lived in. I loved my stay.

Loved this lake side cottage!! It was perfect for us to meet up with extended family. Beds very comfortable! All the base necessities were there, the view is amazing! We had a blast fishing and swimming, and also kayaking!!!! There is a lot of room between the bedrooms, living room, covered patio, dock and yard to not feel cramped. Appreciate the laundry room, much needed when in and out of the lake. Lastly I asked for extra hour to visit with family since we were going right to airport and they answered back quickly no problem.

Nice setting easy to get to all activities we were looking to do like Watkins glen and wineries. Tony provided detailed instructions and gave good recommendations!

The Diane and Tom were very responsive and helpful from local attractions to helping provide tools when we had car trouble. The space was very welcoming and even had local coffee, s'mores makings, and other snacks. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at anytime of the day and the lake was within walking distance. The only downside was an uncomfortable master bed, but the other 3 beds were like sleeping on clouds! The water is not drinkable due to taste, but we brought our own.

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. It was a cool, rainy weekend and we took full advantage of the bedroom fireplaces and extra blankets! Would love to come back to enjoy summer-time at your place. Thank you!

We had a great time here on the lake. The house was stocked with kitchen needs, water activities, towels, comfortable bedding, coffee, and bathroom amenities. We spent most of our trip swimming in the lake, kayaking, and sitting in the hot tub. Great location to Watkins glen and the wine trail. Would love to come back for another trip!

The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

Amazing place we rented both cottages and Frank was more then accommodating for our stay, we would like to come back yearly!

Loved our stay! Sleeping in the boathouse is totally worth the stairs to the main cottage. You can feel and see the family history in the main cottage. Elfi is a great host and we got exactly what she described. will totally stay again when in the area.

Beautiful location, house was just the right size, my sisters and I had a great time despite the rain and chilly temperatures. Loved that the house was right on the water.

A great location with plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen and good game selection. There were also lots of extra blankets which my children and I appreciated. A wonderful experience all around!

Cottage number 2.: The cottages are located within a very nice campground on Seneca Lake. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and delivered firewood.The Cottage has a private lakefront with a dock which is separate from the campground. The water is clear and shallow. I would recommend bringing supportive shoes to walk up and down the staircase to the lake. The location is absolutely amazing. It is in the middle of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. There is lots to do nearby such as child and dog friendly wineries , breweries and an impressive creamery. The campsite cottage is actually off of a road to an interesting winery on the lake. It was full of historical information- they engaged my 10 yr old by asking him questions about the home and what he noticed- pointing out facts such as the tax on windows in the 1800’s. Bring all of your creature comforts from home. Jared is wonderful and responsive. We planned accordingly from reviews- didn’t have any leash law issues. Close to state parks

Cozy home with beautiful views, we rented a boat and were able to dock it at the house for a bit! The large window facing the lake made sitting in the living room/Dinning room was so enjoyable. There is one AC unit that cooled the main house down but the Bedrooms got a little warm- we had to keep the doors open to get air in them. The beds are comfy but they rooms are small and right next to each other. It was just my Fiancé and I but would have been a little too tight with another couple with us. Hammondsport was a lovely town nearby with good spots for Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast. TJs Coffee and Bagels was delicious for breakfast and Park Inn was our favorite restaurant for Dinner. Loved our stay and will be back!

We had a phenomenal time spending Memorial Day weekend at Bryan’s lakefront property. We were traveling with a group of 5 humans and one pup, ranging in age from baby to senior and everyone had a great time (especially the pup!). The space is clean and the dock is gorgeous. This is our second time here and likely not our last!

The lake house was in a great location. We loved the huge deck/dock area and the upper porch area with the table. There was plenty of parking across just across the street. Overall it had a very "homey" feeling. They had some books that you could start reading and take with you, which was a nice touch. It was located really close to the Lakeside Restaurant and Tavern which also had a beautiful outdoor dining area by the water and great food! Close Bully Hill, Heron Hill, Dr. Franks wineries, etc. If you're going with a larger group, you have to be okay with having one shower. We made it work just fine though since there is a second half bath.

Such a sweet cottage in a beautiful area on Keuka Lake! We enjoyed having dinner and soaking up the sun on the deck, swimming in the lake, and sitting by a campfire at night. Moving in/out and accessing the lake was very easy with just a couple of steps either way. The backyard was perfect for yard games. Plenty of parking, and Beth was great! The view is spectacular! I would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed Memorial Day weekend 2025 with our 3 daughters (20, 23, & 25). The weather wasn’t very cooperative for lake fun until the last day but Charles let us stay into the afternoon so that we could enjoy the lake a bit. During the weekend he had great recommendations as well. The house was very comfortable and we made great family memories cooking, playing games, watching tv and listening to music.

We had an amazing stay with evolve. They were so responsive and the whole process was very smooth. There are fire, grill, and kayaks. We are by the water every day and it was absolutely amazing! The windows are gorgeous, and we can see the beautiful sunset every day. Definitely will come back for this one!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. Ashley was very responsive and friendly. The house was comfortable and the neighbors were very friendly. There were two Kayaks available and a nice variety of life jackets. The view from upstairs is fantastic and the neighbor kindly explained the fire place situation( it actually sits behind his property but on the beach right of way). It was a great home base to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Finger Lakes.

This house was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun celebrating our bride to be here! Our host was flexible, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in the area. It was clean, spotless when we walked in, and the house is very well taken care of. The views were amazing and we truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you!

This is an absolutely delightful and immaculate cottage on the lake with 3 bedrooms upstairs, a beautiful elevated deck overlooking Keuka Lake, and a completely well appointed kitchen. The location is about 2 miles from the town of Penn Yan, which is a short run for groceries or dinner out. This was a wonderful stay and Kathy was extremely helpful in answering any questions.

Staying here was perfect from start to finish. The location of the place is remarkable, especially with the ability to utilize their SUP and Kayak this time of year. We lucked out with incredible weather to get out on the lake each day. Wish I had thought about renting a boat for a day in advance from the local marina, as that would have been a great thing to do. The town is a little over a mile away and has some great little restaurants and a brewery, that feasibly could be walked to if desired. There is a popular ice cream place within 1/4 mile of the house, which my kids really enjoyed each night. The main floor of the house and the 2nd floor were ideal for our family situation. I know Lisa is working on the basement level where one of the bedrooms was, so that will be great when that is done, but it was sufficient for our needs this go around. My one daughter didn't want to sleep down there, so we gave her the upstairs room instead. All in all, I would definitely visit again. Lisa was a great host and communicated very well.
