Located in the yard of another cottage. A view of the forest from the sauna cabin's porch. There is no water line, the water containers are filled when you arrive. Spacious sauna. BBQ house at your disposal (about 50 meters from the cottage). A dry toilet accessed through a canopy. Refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. No hot plate. Linens/towels included.

Villa Väylän Helmi is located in the municipality of Ylitornio, in Marjosaari, Kaulinranta village. The island is a peaceful rural setting, with mostly holiday homes. Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Cozy sauna cottage in Lapland

Atmospheric sauna cottage (22m²) in the countryside. Escape from everyday life, enjoy the peace and quiet of a cottage located in the yard of our house, but completely in your own peace. A comfortable 160 cm wide bed offers space for two adults. Heat your own wood-fired sauna, relax on the terrace or by the campfire on a laavu. Admire the starry sky or the northern lights far from the city lights. On a winter morning, you can walk on beautiful snowy forest trails, listen to the silence of nature, and breathe in the fresh air.

Charming log cabin on the shores of the Kemijoki River

Relax by the beautiful Kemijoki River in a log cabin built in 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a grill shed, as well as a terrace. Another sauna, which can be rented separately during the summer, is right on the beach. There is a hot tub and a gazebo with an 8-burner grill next to the sauna. A rowboat is available for residents. Linens and towels are included in the price. The taps have spring water. In the silence of the countryside, the soul rests!

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Location next to village road doesn't bother those coming from cities and in return, you have a lake view and a natural sandy beach, where to follow northern day and year go by. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

We offer cozy, spacious and relaxing oldfashion countryside house with excellent hiking, fishing, berry-picking and ice fishing possibilities.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
