Great location, very reasonable and no frills place to stay if you’re looking to explore New York

Je recommande ce logement. Même si un peu bruyant, parfait pour y passer la semaine. Propre, salle de bain partagée propre, équipement léger.

Andrew and Gabriela were amazing, we arrived before our scheduled checkin time and made the accommodations immediately to leave our bags and settle in before we took on New York. As we were out and about and didn’t know any good places to eat or drink, they quickly aided us with so much info of where to go and what was affordable. They went above and beyond to make our trip great. Would definitely rebook on future stays !

I stayed a week here by myself. The room, while not huge, was almost the same size as my son's hotel room in Times Square. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and is on an adjustable frame, which made sleeping much more enjoyable. Julia and John, and their daughter are beyond helpful and nice. I spent a few available hours just talking with them and getting to know their story. They are beautiful people. Access to the apartment is 1 block from a subway station. Very easy access. You are very close to some amazing paths and parks. Beautiful and quiet area. Close to restaurants, and even major grocery and retail stores are no more than a few streets away. I would definitely stay there again, if only to visit with Julia and John again.

The place itself was really nice. The home was beautiful. Close to the subway and a few restaurants. My only complaint is that the area is a bit loud at night, but I still managed to sleep alright.

We stayed here for 10 days and we couldn’t be happier with the apartment and location. Andy was super helpful and responded so quickly to all messages. He recommended local bus routes and luggage storage due to our flight being a little later than the checkout time. This gave us an extra day of exploring with now hassle. We highly recommend this stay. 25 min bus journey into Port Authority Bus Terminal… far enough away from the busy streets of NYC but close enough to get in and out all times of day and night. Incredible coffee spot at the end of the street which we visited almost daily. Whenever we come back to NYC we will be sure to stay here again.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es ist außerdem wirklich super und unkompliziert nach NYC angebunden, der Bus fährt ständig in beide Richtungen. Die Nachbarschaft ist super ruhig und sicher, man hat einen tollen Blick nach Manhattan. Ein tolles Café und ein Supermarkt sind direkt um die Ecke. Wir würden definitiv wieder herkommen!

Very nice apartment and extremely clean! Overall, very comfy and well-equipped. The downside (but that´s on us and not Melissa!) was the location. Despite the fact that it´s possible to take the bus to the city center, we experienced this being a bit of a burden. The bus terminal in the center is not very easy to orientate yourself in when being there the first time, also staff has been rather unfriendly and not very willing to help. The bus transport costs 8$ per trip for 2 people. So we paid 16$ every day to commute back and forward between the apartment and the center. As said, we should have informed ourselves better prior to the stay, but we would not book this one again due to the commuting time. Especially during busy times (morning), the trip takes up to 1 hour one way and busses were extremely crowded from time to time with no seat available. We are young and did not mind too much but I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with that. But again, this is on us! :)

Henri’s place has an excellent location in Manhattan with walking distance to many places and short commute by bus or subway to most attractions. Super quick check-in and check-out process. It’s right next to Korea town so plenty of good Korean/Asian options restaurants and bars that open til midnight or 24/7. The room itself is big enough for four of us since we spent most of the days outside. Great experience overall!

Merci infiniment à Richard et son épouse pour toutes les excellentes recommandations et activités proposées. Le séjour a été amélioré grâce à eux ! Les transports proches de l’appartement nous emmènent rapidement aux différents points remarquables de NYC . La communication avec Richard et son épouse est très fluide et agréable. Parfait !!

Super logement pour un séjour à New-York ! Très bien situé (lignes de bus 166, 165 ou 128 à proximité, directes et qui offrent en plus une vue splendide sur Manhattan). Les équipements du logement sont d'excellente qualité. La propreté est top. Le quartier est sympa et propose tout le nécessaire pour se restaurer ou faire quelques courses. Sal est un hôte très réactif et prêt à proposer une solution à vos demandes. Franchement, que du positif pour un bon séjour !

This property was fantastic! The location is super walkable to everything Hoboken has to offer and is very walkable to the Path. The home is simply lovely & very welcoming. The outdoor space is perfect for reading a book or sipping coffee. Elgha was very responsive & an excellent host. We will absolutely be back!

Had a great stay at Marco's place - it's compact but you still get way more room than in a hotel. Good location not far from a subway stop with a really good takeaway pizza place at the end of the road. Marco was fast to respond to any queries and really helpful in allowing us to leave our luggage in the apartment we had a late flight. 100% recommended!

An excellent place to stay in Harlem, centrally located near the 125th street subway station. You can easily get anywhere you want to go quick and easy. Lots of good restaurants nearby, along with bodegas and a (albeit expensive) grocery store. Its nice that the owners live on site, and they were very helpful and friendly. Having a big tub with jets in the room is a huge bonus if you aren't used to the amount of walking you are in for in NY. I'll definitely be back!

Nicely renovated basement apartment. Ben was a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed and having a designated parking spot was great. It is a short walk away from the apartment. Backyard was ideal has we were traveling with our dog. Location was perfect for our event at Liberty State Park. Would recommend if you plan to visit Jersey City.

The view is priceless. By day, by night, anytime. The apartment itself is great, too: spacious, well furnished, a huge kitchen, perfectly equipped. Less than 20 minutes by bus to Times Square, but located in a calm and safe neighborhood across the Hudson River. For some, the steps up to the fifth floor might be an impediment, but that’s really the only issue I could think of. Absolute recommendation!

A very cute home! It’s just like home and so cozy. Extremely clean. And OMG we love the shower lol. It’s not too far from the city. We went to the Governs Ball which we definitely recommend!! Really close to the subways and other transportation. Hosts were very friendly and responsive!
