This is a private rental accommodation located next to the historic site of the former Sanjo residence in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. The former Sanjo family has prospered in the shipping, silk, and sake industries in Miyazu Castle since the Edo period. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. The owner carefully selected high-quality flooring and tiles while maintaining the atmosphere of that time, and placed selected sofas, tables, and bar counters in the living room on the ground floor. We have created a space for you to relax and unwind. Please spend your time in a high-quality space while feeling the history and seasonal changes of Miyazu, a port town that has fascinated many people since ancient times. The location is in a quiet residential area by the sea in a place called Hinata, Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. It is a resort accommodation where you can get in touch with nature. Feel free to use the bicycles, which are also available for free. It is about 20 minutes by car from the Kyoto Jukando "Yosaketenbashidate IC". By bus, it is about 48 minutes from Miyazu Station to Hatagawabashi, From "Tenryu-Bashi Station" to "Hatagawabashi" is about 35 minutes, It is a 4-minute walk from the "Hatawatabi" bus stop. We have free on-site parking for up to 3 regular-sized vehicles. Ine town, famous for its funaya boats, is about 15 minutes by car and about 25 minutes by bus, It is in a good location about 5 minutes by car or about 7 minutes by bus to Japan's top three scenic spots, Amanohashidate. It is a quiet residential area, a 1-minute walk from the inn to the Sea of Japan. There is a large living room on the 1st floor, 2 Western-style rooms on the 2nd floor, and 2 toilets. The garden has a wooden deck and a barbecue grill, so you can use it for barbecues and chill spots. (You need to bring your own charcoal and ingredients, and you can bring them in) It is also recommended for families with children and groups.

It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

The building is old, but we renovated it 3 years ago. Western-style rooms, toilets, and baths on the first floor. Japanese-style rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor are a little steep, so please be careful because it may be inconvenient for small children and the elderly. The bedroom is a Western-style room (1 double bed) and a Japanese-style room (2 Japanese futons) that can accommodate up to 4 people, so please relax with your family or friends. It also has a kitchen and laundry so it's good for long-term stays. There is no supermarket, convenience store, or restaurant nearby. There is a long climb 15 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop.
