It is located 65 km from Kumamoto Airport (1 hour and 30 minutes), 48 kilometers from Kumamoto Station (1 hour and 10 minutes), 50 kilometers from Kumamoto Castle (1 hour and 17 minutes), and 9 km (15 minutes) from Triangle Station. There is a city of Oyano, a 10-minute drive from the villa, with offices, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.25 km to Nagabuta Seabed Road and ONE PIECE Sinbe Statue. You can access the sea from the premises, so you can also enjoy playing on the island, fishing, kayaking, sup, and other marlin sports.Kayaks are available for rent. 160-year-old renovated kominka house. 2300 m² site, 170 m² building.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

The house was built in 2005 and has 3 bedrooms but the first floor has been partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic views over famed surfing mecca of Kanegahama beach. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress that can be used if needed (it is not as comfortable as the beds!). As this house is in a residential area, we ask all guests to refrain from making loud noise/music outside, especially after dark.
