Tiny house holiday rentals in Zaanstad

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. Quiet place near to train station at 20-30 minutes to Amsterdam

We had a great time in the residential container in IJmuiden. The two sofas make it very comfortable. The beach is about a 10-minute walk.

We had a great stat at Karina’s boat house. It is probably one of the more unique locations we’ve stayed at. From the Central traine station you jump on the free ferry across the channel and then walk for about 5 mins to get to the boathouse. There are bars and restaurants close to the hose. On the same street as the boathouse is the ONS restaurant/bar which is really worth a stop. The boathouse is small but it has a small kitchenette and a roomy bathroom. There is a terrace right outside the door that rests on the water. Beautiful place to have a morning coffee or an apperitif in the evening. The sleeping arrangements were fun and definately something new for us. Somewhat nostalgic as you climb a ladder to get up to the bunkbed like mezzanine bed. Felt like a kid again! The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away from the hussle and bussle of downtown Amsterdam. Yet it only takes a quick walk and a 4 mins ferry ride to be right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

Couldnt fault the tiny house. We felt so far away from the world, yet on the doorstep to everything. Nancy couldnt of been more helpful. Anything we needed was answered. The chickens were a bonus.

We had a very nice stay at Melwin's. We were greeted with apple cake and sparkling wine. The place looks exactly the same as in the photos. There is everything you need for a short vacation. Everything was very clean. The communication was very friendly and fast. From the accommodation you can easily reach the beach, train station and city center on foot. Very central but also very quiet location.

Els was very flexible about the arrival. She was extremely accommodating and very very attentive in the form of small amenities such as drinks and snacks. Even bikes were provided to us. We were positively surprised.

We booked this accommodation after we had to leave our previous one due to dirty conditions. Esther is great! The little house is great! Everything was super clean and well described. Very nice amenities and good location! All 4 of us are glad that we found this accommodation spontaneously. Esther quickly cleaned this for us and we were only able to check in 1 hour later. Thank you, I hope we will come back here soon🙋🏻‍♀️

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was very fresh with a glimpse of the local life.I also enjoyed walking and biking around the area.The space was very clean and tidy, and at night it was a very relaxing space to see the stars through the ceiling windows and the birds chirping in the morning.I wanted to do yoga in a very beautiful garden, and when I consulted, they happily lent me a yoga mat.That experience was the highlight of our trip.Dax and Willemijn were friendly and quick to respond, which was helpful.Thank you :)

We had a great stay in the Netherlands. The accommodation is impeccable, bright, clean, in accordance with the description on the site. We couldn't ride our bikes because of the bad weather, but we'll do it another time. I recommend this real cocooning accommodation. We will return to this beautiful area.

Our two-day stay in Santpoort-Zuid was perfect for us 2 cyclists: Warm welcome, a comfortable bed in the sweet little garden cottage with the essentials, for wonderful excursions to the open-air theater, to the castle and to the old mill. Great!

Always stay here when in Zanvoort. Perfectly placed for the town and the circuit. Very clean and everything you need.

It was a nice experience to sleep in a tiny house. It was very clean and well maintained, Gabriella came by and offered help with questions, very friendly. The only thing that is a pity is that the whirlpool should only be used from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to the volume and those are times when you are often traveling on vacation. Until 9:30 p.m. would be more practical. Otherwise, everything is good, but you need a car.

A nice studio where everything was thought of.. unfortunately we only found out in the morning that I could have had cappuccino for breakfast.. so there is a milk frother! Perhaps it is still an idea to be able to book a breakfast. But for a late breakfast, you can always go to the tea house further down the street! Furthermore, excellent beds, shower clean and nice! Everything has been thought of in the kitchen... really perfect! We can imagine that it is a great place to be in the summer! The bicycles that you can use to cycle to Haarlem are also ideal!

Camp Rorik is a beautiful place surrounded by nature, animals, beautiful and peaceful people. the restaurant's food is amazing with good quality/price ratio. Definitely worth the visit. hope we'll be back one day.

We were very happy with the place and will probably come back next year as well.

First- if you are expecting a nice posh hotel this is not for you. It is more like what we’d call a fishing camp or a river houseboat in the states. It’s reclaimed materials and rustic. However it was clean and charming in its own way. We had everything we needed-even sugar and coffee provided. The kids loved feeding chickens, cutting wood, riding bike things, and playing in the fort. Wonder around the property- there’s a balance rope, fire pits to share, etc.

The space is in the middle of nature. It's very cute and pleasant. We loved it and highly recommend!

Best holiday/short break I've had for years. Quiet, peaceful and full of wildlife. Really hadn't anticipated seeing so many animals and birds on such a patch of land, but it was a joy to experience. Erwin was welcoming, amiable and clear in what was needed to be done viz. the cabin and entering/leaving the farm. Amsterdam Central takes about an hour to reach on the 391 bus and is fairly easy to navigate to from the accommodation.
