Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Zambezi River

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was beautiful, with stunning interiors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Our favorite part was definitely the garden — a perfect spot to relax and unwind with friends and family, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful nature vibe. The location was ok conveniently close to places like Westgate and Mabelreign shops. A huge thank you to the amazing hosts who made us feel so welcome! Their communication was excellent, and they were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The caretaker, who stays at the back, was also very friendly and respectful of our space while always being happy to assist with anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

We were looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to unwind. Hazel's place suited our needs. Hazel's holist retreat has beautiful surroundings. Hazel has also created different spaces to chill in house and outside the house. Hazel's accurate description of services and amenities helped us prepare and plan for our trip. The mini bar in the house was nice touch. Hazel's holist retreat exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend Hazel's place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay, Sara went out of her way to help with anything we wanted from house requirements to information about Vic falls, and every tip or recommendation she made to us, was spot on. The house is set in a very lush green garden, extremely secure, private and comfortable. We enjoyed your hospitality for our short stay, and we now regret not spending more time there. We had a wonderful stay as we came up from the weekend during our medical rotation. The place was beautiful and was a relaxing getaway. The staff was very welcoming and ensured that our stay was as comfortable it could be. Definitely recommend!

Was in Zimbabwe for vacation and this place is exactly what we needed - quiet, comfortable and perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Will be staying here again next time I visit Harare :) Tafadzwa, the caretaker was amazing. He assisted us with carrying our bags when we arrived and was there to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The hosts were amazing and answered all the questions in a timely manner.

We loved staying at the cottage in Senga Bay. The setup of the house was perfect for a large group. It was very hot so the ceiling fans/ac were very helpful. Very nice access the the lake and the hanging bed/shaded sand area by the lake was a fave hangout spot.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and beautifully maintained place. The staff were exceptionally friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. The gardens were stunning and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to returning ourselves.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation, in quiet area and conveniently situated with easy walk into town. Ross and Mags were very helpful in arranging activities for us and provided good advise.

Our stay was great, the place felt at home with a descent yard to relax. WiFi was provided and the place is in a serene neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and everything in the house was functional, I definitely recommend Benson.

Love the place , peace, clean , great view of river elephants, hippos, great grill and kitchen! Only one other cottage so you feel very private. No road noise. The perfect area stop!!! Thanks so much ! Great place to to recharge

The heartwarming hospitality of Alfred, his wife and the staff made this stay unlike any other. We felt at home in this African household with splendid local food and great service. The enthusiasm and helpfulness of Alfred in particular is unmatched. The cottage was lovely and neat. A small inconvenience for us was the honking of trains passing the track close to the accommodation. Furthermore, there were some minor maintenance issues but the five star review definitively matches the price-quality ratio and welcoming atmosphere of the stay!

Even though we didn’t catch any tigers, we made loads of memories! Murray’s place had a tranquility that was a balm. It was wonderful to retreat and reset priorities, away from devices we played endless card games and laughed more than we thought possible. But we will need to return to catch those elusive tigers!

Nice and quiet location. Perfect place to experience true rural Zambia. There are plenty of backroads and paths where you can make hikes. Clear night skies. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. Very friendly people. During the evenings there is a fire you can sit next to, chat with some of the community members and gaze at the stars. Couple hundred meters from the campsite there is a community school that is providing education to the young children in the area. It was nice to take a visit there and interact with the kids. The school is supported by the campsite owners, so by staying at the campsite you will be making a contribution to their education. Could really recommend, especially if you are looking for an authentic and unique experience.
