Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Zambezi River

Honestly the most incredible stay. As someone who previously lived in Zambia and was looking for a quiet but more bush experience but modern enough for little inexperienced me to survive (hot water, WiFi, etc) this was perfect. I cannot express the beauty of this place and the pictures could never do it justice. Yes it’s out of the way but it’s not too far out. I’d recommend stopping for food supplies on route because it is far out enough to not want to settle then get in the car again to get dinner. Also shop in town - better suited to international purchases. The shops closer to the place are less so (minus butchers block and the pantry). Try Zambean coffee / sugar bush for a nice breakfast! I’d also recommend a car suitable for dirt roads although our temporary corolla made it just fine. The floors are slippery and yes I had a heart attack when my aunts kids came over so perhaps something to consider but we survived. We saw zebra and kudu etc all came right up to the house!

Had a fantastic time at this bnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe. Erica was such a friendly and welcoming host, she made everything easy and stress-free. Would definitely stay again!

A wonderfully traditional place, in a brilliant location. The place was way beyond what I expected. Huge space with fantastic furniture. Gardens are tremendous and I couldn't recommend more for people to stay in this great place.

A large home with large garden friendly helpful housekeeping and suitable for a large group ( we were 7) and children. Shopping amenities simple & local, with good local restaurants etc. excellent laundry facilities too. local taxis easy to book to visit other areas. very helpful guide to the area

We had such a lovely stay here. Vicky is an amazing host who made our stay so enjoyable. From the get go she was extremely responsive and helpful which made organising our stay so easy. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back x

From the first communication after booking to the last when we had left Zim, both Sandra and Brightone were great. They are both lovely people and responded promptly to some issues we experienced in an effort to address them as best as they could. Their place stands out as you arrive. It has a beautifully manicured front lawn with colourful flowers. Inside is very relaxing. We had a very well deserved chilled out time. Nyasha was not intrusive, we only saw him attending to his duties and when we needed something from him. Although most places around are still being built we never felt uneasy or feared for our safety

First time stay and it was AMAZING!! Very modern and beautiful!! I will return. The hosts and the property manager were delightful to deal with when I had questions.. highly recommend! 🔥🙌🏾

As always we had a wonderful stay. Absolutely love that we had lights, water & internet 24/7. Charlene is a wonderful host. She was so caring about our comfort. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a home away from home!

Peter was a great a hospitable host. Him and his wife welcome us with open arms. The property is in a prime location in Harare with banks and other services close by. It’s shame that it was cold all weekend and we weren’t able to use the pool much, but we took a dip on our last day and it was glorious. Thanks Peter.

A great place in a great location. We travelled as a family with an infant- ideal for families. All amenities present- running borehole water, solar power, kitchen essentials etc. Highly recommend this place.
