Isabella - Country Refuge in Marvão

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Casa da Piedade is a cozy retreat in total harmony with nature, where comfort and tranquility are priorities. Located in Portagem, at the foot of the Marvão mountain range, it is a 3-minute walk from the local swimming pools and a 10-minute drive from the castle. Surrounded by typical restaurants and serene landscapes, it is the ideal starting point to explore the region, savor the local cuisine and rest in a calm and authentic environment.

Pula Xitaca

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Stairway to the Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.

SUN SET HOUSE

Medieval house, of Jewish origin (it is thought that it may have originated with the Sephardic Jews who were expelled from Spain in 1492 by the Catholic Monarchs), fully recovered while retaining all its originality. Only the inevitable modernity was incorporated but never coming into conflict with its traditional architecture.
