our stay exceeded all our expectations. everything was good... what I say: fantastic: the boat, the rooms, Ko and Ella, the host and -woman. we were warmly welcomed. Very nice people. Ko her partner were very welcoming to make us feel at ease and helpful indicating places to visit and things to do. The space inside their Amelia boat matched the description and pictures. It was definitely a fun experience I'd recommend :)

Great, Zeeland what it's like If you want to sail or use the boat as a holiday base with 2-3 people, Jan is the right place for you. Jan knows Tholen, Zeeland and the surrounding area, is always very nice and approachable. We enjoyed the holiday very much. Luxury or upscale comfort is not to be expected and must cope with the conditions of a sailing tour. It's like camping in the harbor and the harbor is something special. Lots of other nice people, international, you talk to each other and help. Shops are around the corner, fresh croissants and Dutch specialties 250m walk, Albert Hein and Aldi 600m on foot. In the small galley with two cookers, we were able to cook deliciously. Washing machine, dryer, showers, dishwasher and toilets are available in the harbor complex and clean. You can fish from the boat and the 4 beaches are 10-15min by car and Jan has plenty of tips where you can go and there is good food. Thx 🙏

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! The boat was just as beautiful as in the photos – stylishly furnished, sparkling clean and with many loving details. The beds are okay for sleeping, but you can't expect the greatest comfort. The location was also great – quiet, but still everything available. Ideal for excursions or simply for relaxing. Communication with the hosts was also excellent.

Helena's time was just wonderful! Helena is a very attentive, friendly host and the breakfast is excellent! The boat is cozy, very clean and offers all the comfort you could wish for. The area is fantastic, it's quiet, and you can spend a lot of time in nature and enjoy the magnificent views. In the vicinity you can rent bikes and explore the water with SUPs. We highly recommend Helena's boat and will be happy to come back! Thank you for everything!

Jo is a super host for sure! Boat is big, clean (but be aware that the floor is only for the shoes or slippers in the shower - you can not walk in socks without making them black). The boat is nice and has a cosy and authentic living room but actually it is not a living boat, but a diving boat. Good thing - it feels like more interesting experience, from other side there are no wine glasses, also plenty of things with 'private' note (beers, cola, wines that are not for you). The heating is available and you can make the place as warm as you want but the linen feels a little bit wet. Though for max amount of guests the price is good, and you can find everything you need.

Captain Joris,   We would like to thank you for our wonderful week in the port of Herkingen on your beautiful sailboat with plenty of space for several people. From Herkingen, we explored all of Zeeland and Rotterdam. Wonderful and the Dutch summer weather was also just nice (which of course is becoming more and more common with the well-known climate change). We even went through our first sailing experience under your "skipper's line" on a sailing trip booked with you from Herkingen to Brouwershaven. Wonderful experience with this sailboat we stayed on. The family ties are even strengthened by becoming a "team". In Brouwershaven we ate deliciously... on our own sailboat with the BBQ and kitchen with spacious cooling where every beer came out wonderfully cold. (except for the skipper).   It should also be said, what a wonderfully quiet and clean harbor is Herkingen with all necessary amenities: including a good supermarket and a delicious fresh sourdough bakery "with Mien you are baked" within walking distance. In other words, all the necessary ingredients for a wonderful vacation in your own country are ample! As a host, Schipper Joris is really keen on the fact that those holiday experiences on his boat should become beautiful and good memories. Highly recommended if you want to do something different and really nice with your vacation or in between as partners or family in your own country!
