Welcome to Casa Cantarito! We bought a beautiful home in historic San Miguel de Allende (SMA) and excited to share our private casita with travelers. SMA, or the Paris of Mexico as it is called, is a magical city with tons of history and culture. Our location is perfect for short stops and long stays with all the amenities and comforts of home. We have been AirBnB Super Hosts for more than 5 years back in Canada and work very hard to ensure that everyone we host is satisfied.

Spacious Villa provides much privacy and views. Walk to town in less than 15 min or 4 min by taxi. Relax around the pool, numerous patios and courtyards. Continental breakfast is included. Also can do full breakfast (150 pesos plus groceries per person daily), full dinner with margaritas and guacamole (250 pesos) and stock any groceries at cost. The town of San Miguel de Allende charges a 5% occupancy tax that will be billed through the AirBnB resolution center.

Ideal for solo travelers, couples, or anyone seeking quiet beauty in nature’s embrace.

El Centro with light, color, gardens & cook.

Our home is vintage San Miguel with perfect orientation for light and sunset viewing. My husband, an architect, myself, a designer remodeled this 100 year old structure 35 years ago for our family with color, textiles, folk art. It has wonderful garden with a lime tree and an all access ramp to the roof where everyone hangs out. There is a housekeeper who cooks 3 x a week plus a gardener. We have recently updated lighting, chairs and worn bench tiles.
