BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The vacation home is located in a listed half-timbered house, the former forest farm. Located directly on a swimming lake in the forest, near Schwerin, on the A 14 and A 24. There is a garden of about 15,000 square meters. There are two donkeys and four goats in the paddock. In the garden there are several seats, also covered, so you can sit outside even in bad weather. The apartment has its own terrace. No Wi-Fi, good D2 network, please do not bring animals.

Dannenberg in the beautiful Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor pool nearby, good nearby shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (€10 hour) On weekends only book both nights, no one-night booking. The Storchendorf Wahrenberg is right on the Elbe and offers an ideal location to enjoy nature and activities. Wahrenberg does not have through traffic. In the garden you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Cycling and canoeing are possible directly on site or nearby, as well as swimming on the Elbe or on lakes. The spa in Bad Wilsnack and the beautiful Waldbad Seehausen are ideal for excursions. Simple bicycles cost €5 per day.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed 3-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
