The Mountain House

This spacious mountain home perched well above 3000 ft. will make you feel right at home. Enjoying the expansive views, cuddling up on the sofa with a good book & creating culinary delights in the well stocked kitchen are some of our favorites. DuPont Forest is only a 5 min. drive. (Hunger Games was filmed) Hiking to waterfalls, biking & horseback riding are just a few of the many activities to enjoy. Directly across the street from Tuxedo Park and 1/4 mile from Lake Summit. Bring your hiking or running shoes, bike or kayak! Well-behaved pets welcome. Easy access to US Highway 25. Greenville SC or Asheville NC are just an easy 30 minute drive.

A trip to charming Saluda is like a step back in time and Liberty Hall log cabin welcomes you to sit a while on the front porch and take in the spectacular mountain views. A hike on the nature conservancy trail right outside the front door and chasing fireflies at dusk make this an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Quaint downtown Saluda offers varied dining options and numerous breweries close by offer a refreshing break after tubing down the Green River or hiking down to gaze at a waterfall.

Located within the Village of Historic Flat Rock, Tanglewood is a rare gem of Flat Rock history. Nestled on four wooded acres it is an authentic yet modernized log home. Enjoy locally roasted coffee on the screened porch, s'mores by the fire pit & dinner under the pergola. Cook in the semi custom kitchen. Sleep on comfy queen beds w/ soft cotton sheets. Enjoy pickle ball (use our set!) at Tuxedo Park. Walk/bike around beautiful Lake Summit. Flat Rock: 3 miles, Hendersonville: 8 miles, Travelers Rest: 22 miles, Asheville: 35 miles. Ride Rock Creek Bike Park: 7 miles. Well-mannered pets are welcomed, they will love the fenced-in yard.

The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.
