Cottage holiday rentals in Zuheros

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

We spent a wonderful couple of months staying in Isa's beautiful house. It felt like home with lots of thoughtful touches. The view from the patio is incredible, looking out over the beautiful town and the lake. Iznajar is a great place to stay, so friendly and lots of cultural events going on. We loved it there. So much so we bought a house nearby! Isa is very kind and helpful. She really is a very attentive host and goes the extra mile to look after you. Muchas gracias y hasta luego!!

the house is as advertised. the owner is responsive available. very good welcome. the access to the house is well indicated. it is necessary to have a car because the house is isolated, far from the city and accessible by an unpaved road only at the end of the journey for 2 km. the house is fully equipped, and all comforts. the rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. the pool is as shown in the photos, the hot tub is pleasant and a real asset. there are animals on the property, cats and dogs, a donkey and a horse. the animals are a plus, the children love it. we had a pleasant stay. I recommend for families for a relaxing holiday away from the city.

A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

Wonderful but too short stay in this lovely house, carefully prepared by David with the help of his mom Aurora. In the middle of nature, quiet, surrounded by olive trees and flowers: perfect for relaxing! We were with our 3 toddlers who also really enjoyed it.

What an incredibly beautiful, spacious and especially quiet place is this house of Rafael and his sister. The outdoor space is fantastic, large with all kinds of beautiful plants and flowers and various places where you can sit comfortably. The swimming pool is nice and large and is cleaned every day. Inside it is cozy and thanks to the air conditioning it was also cool during a few extremely hot days. We enjoyed our time in the house and also our dog Noa always knew how to find her own places, both inside and outside. We were still surprised with a bowl of fresh eggs and with a visit from a small squirrel. Excellent place to disconnect from everything. Rafael and his sister are very friendly and helpful!

Jesus' house is a pretty house full of history, very nice and very well maintained. We had a wonderful peaceful and secluded stay in the middle of the olive groves. Please note that it is necessary to have a vehicle to get around or run errands. Our stay went wonderfully and Jesus was very available and helpful. Only small downside, the pool was not usable because it was closed for winter. It will be best to inquire with the host to make sure the pool is usable. But there are many options for swimming in the area. I recommend this house for a disconnection stay in Andalusia.

Incredible house. Old chapel, you can see the talent in decorating that place. It is a place full of peace with a spectacular poolside view. Trekking trails, village restaurant with delicious cuisine. We loved our week at Teresa's house, and she also recommended many places. Very privileged place.

Perfect place to disconnect in the middle of nature. The house freshly renovated and with all the equipment possible, nothing was missing. Rubén and his father have always been available both before and during to resolve any questions. The only downside is the access road, which you have to be cautious and not access with a too low vehicle. No doubt we will try to return in the future :)

we had an incredible weekend the super cool house inside and the super spacious pool, with the barbecue very well located and to get to the site it was very easy! Everything was very good!

It was a great weekend. The house is an old house, old, kept as the houses were 100 years ago. It does not have the comfort of a current new home or ready for people with reduced mobility. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with recycled antique items that make it very beautiful. They are equipped with everything you need, and clean. The hall has a fireplace that in winter has to heat the house quite well. We were in Julio and it was fresh, it does not have air conditioning, but it was not missing. And above it has a small pool area and relax for barbecue that make it great. I would repeat without hesitation. Also Manuel has been a great host, always attentive and very kind.

We've been very comfortable. When going with very small babies and going out raining and with so much cold we had our doubts, but the house was very hot and the 5 rooms had enough clothes on the beds and some blanket in the closet just in case. Having a bathroom in each room is a luxury. The exterior of the house is wonderful (all done with great taste and very care) but we have been able to take advantage of it little due to the time. Rafael is very nice and has been very attentive answering our doubts and giving us clear directions. If I have to put any sticks, the little road to access is better to do it by carrying a car that is not too low, so as not to rub.

The stay in Casateli was a real pleasure. The description and images of the house totally corresponded to what was advertised, added to an excellent treatment by the hosts. It is the house where we have found ourselves most comfortable in the level of communication as well as when worrying about our reception, both before arriving and at the time of reception. The house, simply spectacular and very taken care of, both inside and out. Totally recommended either for weekends or longer periods of disconnection.

Great stay in Manuel's rural casa! The proximity to iznajar lake, the hills full of olive trees, the surrounding villages were beautiful. Convenient because 1 h from Cordoba and pomegranate. The pool was perfect. Manuel and his wife were absolutely adorable.

We had a great end, even if the weather did not go with it. The house , very nice in an accessible area, but at the same time quiet. It was very well equipped with utensils , blankets and towels , comfortable beds. Amalia was attentive and attentive in our stay and welcomed us with the chimneys on , good communication and accessible at all times .
