It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. In het mooie West-Friesland te Oostwoud verhuren wij een 4-persoons vakantiehuis genaamd “Papenveer“. Deze vakantiewoning bevindt zich op een klein vakantiepark. Het is gelegen aan doorgaand vaarwater met mooi uitzicht en privacy. De tuin is volledige omheind Papenveer is een knus, huisje voorzien van een moderne keuken en volledig ingerichte badkamer én 2 slaapkamers. Studio34 biedt rust, ruimte en een vrij uitzicht over de landerijen. In 2025 volledig gerenoveerd met oog voor luxe en comfort. Geniet van hazen die door het veld rennen en roofvogels die hoog boven je cirkelen. 5 minuten fietsen van het prachtig natuurgebied Egboetswater – dé plek voor wie houdt van natuur, stilte en vrijheid. Maar wie de reuring op wil zoeken zit met 15 min. in centrum Hoorn en met 40 min. in Amsterdam. Kortom een fijne plek, met privé tuin en diverse andere mogelijkheden.

Het Weidehuisje voelt als een afgelegen privé paradijs, maar ligt verrassend centraal in Noord-Holland. Of je nu wil fietsen, wandelen, vissen, vogels spotten, dorpen ontdekken of gewoon even helemaal niets doen. Dit is de plek waar je op adem komt.

Oostwoud has a strategic rural location, close to cities such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik (10-20 min), Alkmaar and Amsterdam (30-40 min) and nature such as the IJsselmeer (5 min) and the beach (40 min). Also an ideal starting point for cycling routes.

Enjoy the views over the farmyard and the farmlands towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Overlook continuous fishing and boating waters. Rent a boat or a SUP and go on the water! Nature reserve "Het Egboetswater" is nearby, and the beach of the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere from here!
