Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids). Dog friendly.

Oak Leaf Bungalow in Damascus

Hurricane Helene caused damage to many trails including the Creeper, which is closed from White Top thru Damascus, altho the section near Abingdon is open. Most roads open. Our Bungalow is intact. Electricity & water are restored. Please email with any questions. The bungalow is walking distance to the center of town. We're just 15 minutes from Abingdon. The house is cozy and we have a great yard for kids and dogs. Our landline phone has unlimited long distance and we have Wifi and Roku TV

The 54 acre property has 0.4 miles of Helton Creek frontage (located a quarter mile away down the driveway), which boasts the best trout fishing in NC! **This cabin is up a steep road. As of 8-1-22 the difficult parts are now PAVED.
