Un endroit charmant, chaleureux et paisible. Parfait pour un moment en compagnie de ceux qu’on aime. Nous avons profité des couleurs de l’automne en famille et n’aurions pu trouver un meilleur endroit où séjourner dans la région. L’hôte est attentionné et très réactif. Nous avons eu une légère coupure d’électricité qui a duré moins de 30 minutes et en quelques minutes quelqu’un est venu nous donner un gallon d’eau potable et nous assister en cas de besoin. Du jamais vu !! Je recommande fortement !!! 5/5 👌

Cecilia and Mabel were wonderful hosts. The property is as described and has a lot of activities. We wanted a few extra adult life jackets for kayaking and she helped arrange it the same day. A ton of board games, outdoor activities for all age groups. Loved our stay!

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage! The space was well maintained, thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway, including a hot tub. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful from start to finish, making the whole experience seamless. The location was ideal—close to all the amenities we needed, yet perfectly situated for exploring the outdoors. We loved being just a short drive away from stunning waterfalls and scenic lookouts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with adventure.

Perfect place for a getaway! Beautiful, quiet view with everything you could need inside the cottage. Loved the games, hot tub and fireplace as our downhill ski plans were a bust due to weather. Some good walking trails near Blue Sea.

Great spot, beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. No complaints, would book again. Booking was a little confusing as it ran through the company and airbnb. But it makes sense as the cottage is apart of a larger family business. Very helpful staff and extremely accommodating.

This was our second time coming here. We are a family of four with young kids and really enjoy being on the lake so we were happy to see that the place was available when we returned to North bay. The lake is the best part of the rental. The property is spacious.

Jess and Mike’s place on Bear Island is the perfect place for a family get-away! We had a lovely week by the water and spent our days canoeing, paddle boarding, doing yoga on the dock, and hiking the nearby old growth forest trails in Temagami! On the rainy days we curled up and watched a movie in comfort. The cottage was clean and cozy and it was a bonus to have clean sheets, towels and a full cupboard in case we forgot anything! Thanks so much, Jess and Mike for sharing your piece of paradise! We hope to be back next summer!

We had a truly delightful stay at this beautiful property. The host was kind, thoughtful, and extended their goodwill in every possible way, ensuring we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The space itself was exceptionally clean, spacious, and charming - full of that cozy cottage character we were hoping for. We were a group of 13, and the property accommodated us perfectly. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy, both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal setting for a getaway. The nearby lake was absolutely stunning and added to the peaceful and scenic atmosphere of the small town. The townspeople themselves were warm and friendly, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. A heartfelt thank you to the host—we genuinely appreciated your hospitality and would happily return.

Lovely huge cottage, beautiful waterfront, great deck spaces. A fantastic space for families to make memories!

Très beau chalet bien équipé. L'accès à deux lacs (dont Heney qui est beaucoup plus grand) nous plaît beaucoup pour nos randonnées en kayaks et pique-niques sur les îles environnantes. Une épicerie et pharmacie complètes à proximité offrent une tranquillité d'esprit et un côté pratique. Il y a avait beaucoup de place pour ranger nos aliments au réfrigérateur. Il est très agréable de relaxer sur la terrasse à l'abri de la pluie et des moustiques.

Very nice accommodations. Extremely clean. Bed was comfortable and there was lots of towels and linens. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future.

We rented Leslie's place for a week with extended family. Very beautiful setting! Great for swimming and fishing. The house was nicely cleaned and as expected from the listing. The outdoor covered porch is perfect for meals with large groups. We ate all our meals out there. We had a wonderful week! Thank-you Leslie.

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

The place is truly a paradise—beautiful lake views, cozy and comfortable rooms, and the added charm of an outdoor BBQ and firepit perfect for enjoying starry nights. Our dog Skyy had a blast running around the open fields and playing with Gurdy, the host’s lovely dog. Sai’s massage was a highlight—relaxing, professional, and incredibly rejuvenating. Daniel was very welcoming and we felt right at home. The location is private and quiet and the view of the lake is beautiful. The cabin and outside deck are spacious. There was a large outdoor fire pit as well a large wood stove inside the cabin. We had rented a canoe but didn’t need to as we were offered access to Daniel’s canoe. We loved our stay and hope to return as there is much more to discover on this beautiful lake.

Spent Mother’s Day weekend here while in town for a burial. It offered a beautiful, peaceful & spacious place for our family to hunker down and enjoy each other’s company. I grew up on Lake Nipissing so it was a treat to wake up to this familiar view! The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The location was easy to find and not too far from anywhere we needed to go in North Bay. Appreciated how communicative and gracious our hosts were. Would love to return when in town again!
