Absolute gem in the Peak District area. Located in a beautiful village, surrounded by amazing countryside. Cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pub down the road, with good food and friendly atmosphere. Cottage itself is very charming and has lots of character.

Lovely cosy place with everything you need and a few helpful extras like shower gel, blankets, tea, coffee and milk. Cottage was really clean. Loved the location as you can easily walk around. Claire was really responsive and helpful.

An absolutely wonderful weekend stay at TJ’s Hut that I would whole-heartedly recommend to anyone; a truly stunning accommodation in a beautiful hamlet near Castleton. Joanne was incredibly friendly and communicative the whole time, and the finishing touches throughout the accommodation were a real treat. The hut boasts incredible facilities that are all immaculately presented and labelled. The shower hut is also stunning with modern facilities within a cosy setting. Sitting out on the patio, with a beer from the local brewery (a stones throw from the hut), watching the stars and listening to the sound of nature is simply magical. I cannot praise this place enough - a little piece of magic within the heart of the Peak District. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful and historic village. Spotlessly clean and with everything you could need for a great stay. I particularly needed a fridge for a celebration cake and Cheryl was very helpful. The place is set up with a great deal of thought and attention to detail. You do need to be aware that there are lots of stairs with steps into every room- and Cheryl had already warned us of this. Highly recommend
