Nestled on a quiet country road in the heart of a vineyard planted on Monte San Nicolo, the accommodation includes 2 buildings, a Palmento from 1902 which houses the wine press and its outbuilding which was once used as a tool shed. The two spaces are united by a corten structure with a slatted roof, which provides a shady open plan kitchen and dining area next to a terrace and 4m x 7m salt water swimming pool, built in lava stone, recreating the the colours of the Etna coastline

Welcome to my ancestors' house. An old country house at the foot of Mount Etna and just a 15-minute drive from the sea. From June to September you can relax in our outdoor hot tub. If you're looking for a super modern home, this listing isn't for you, all of our furniture (except kitchen and bathrooms) is at least 100 years old. The magnificent trompe-l'oeil frescoed hall and the historic Italian garden are remarkable. A cleaning service and a gardener's maintenance service will be available for the duration of the stay. The housekeepers will carry out their duties for about a couple of hours quietly and discreetly, respecting the privacy and rest of the guests.
