Robert, the owner, was born in Malta and speaks Maltese, English, Italian and French will be happy to give you advice and information about places to visit and things to do during your stay, also the restaurants in the area that are worth a visit Listen out for the gun salutes at noon and sunset from the ancient ceremonial platform. Step over to Upper Barakka Gardens, perhaps the most beautiful park in Valletta. From here, there are fine views of the Grand Harbor and nearby ancient cities.

We really loved our four night stay at this property and will definitely stay here again in future. Spotlessly clean, well maintained, and had everything you would need for either a few night or a longer stay. Excellent location right in centre and easy to reach all sides of Valletta within a short walk. Close to all the bars and restaurants but in a quiet side street away from the hustle which felt very safe, secure and well lit to the entrance. Host gave regular updates and check in was in person rather than a “key lock box” which was a nice touch. My only criticism was being asked to provide either a passport or driving licence, to be photographed on a phone and sent to the office, which didn’t feel a very GDPR/Data compliant process. After some discussion we allowed the photos to be taken but with all the passport personal data covered over, so just our name and photo was on show. That was a happy compromise, and didn’t spoil our stay, just a point to be aware of.

We had a great stay in Valletta - the apartment is in a fantastic location with it being only a few minutes walk from lots of bars, shops & restaurants. There are some aspects of the apartment that need refreshing/touching up but overall the apartment is clean and well kept and matches the photos and description on the listing. I had to contact Airbnb as I didn’t have any check in details or the exact address of the apartment which was quite stressful when we were due to land in Malta in less than 24 hours time, but they managed to get hold of the host and I received the details. If you are a light sleeper I would definitely recommend bringing some ear plugs as there are lots of church bells in the area!

Cannot fault where the accommodation was in the heart of Valletta, but not right in the touristy bit. Decor and layout perfect for two people and everything you could need. Water ferries and taxi’s easily accessible or Ubers readily available. Mickael recommended a few restaurants and we weren’t disappointed. We loved Malta and all its sights and history. Thank You Mickael.
